Even now, when there is no shortage of sweets, the flaky delicacy leaves no one indifferent. Let's prepare a luxurious Napoleon cake according to the Soviet recipe.
Classic Soviet recipe for Napoleon cake
All products listed in the recipe are affordable. The cost of a homemade cake varies from 300 to 420 rubles.
Ingredients for the dough:
- 500 g flour;
- 250 g butter;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tbsp. l. table vinegar;
- 100 ml of water;
- 3/4 tsp salt.
Cream products:
- 1 liter of milk;
- 200 g butter;
- 3 eggs;
- 300 g sugar;
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 100 g flour.
