Popular among the peoples of the Balkan Peninsula, cevapcici represent the national cuisine of Serbia. The classic version is grilled minced meat sausages with the addition of spices and onions. Recently, the name of this dish has been heard in our area.

Why is this, at first glance, a simple dish interesting? Real chevapchichi, according to the general Balkan opinion, are made only from beef or lamb. The meat should be fatty. Sometimes in Serbia, pork plays the role of a fatty ingredient in minced meat. It will take a lot of time to prepare the dish. The meat slices are pre-marinated in salted water with the addition of garlic and pepper, then chopped with a knife. The finished minced meat is kneaded well, beaten off and again insisted.

If it is not possible to cook sausages on your own, semi-finished products come to the rescue. The food industry workers have already taken care of all the preliminary stages, you just need to bring the product to readiness.

  • vegetable oil.

For a side dish, take:

  • young potatoes - 10-15 pcs.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • salt, pepper to taste;
  • brown sugar - 2 tsp;
  • butter;
  • vegetable oil.

Step-by-step instruction:
