Pamper yourself with sweet brushwood and remember the taste you know from childhood
Hello dear friends, readers and subscribers of our "Easily Together" blog. For a long time I have not written anything to our piggy bank, I say this because our blog seems to me a kind of safe, one might even say a treasure where our wealth is accumulated, our work, both physical and intellectual. And this treasure is always open for you, without any passwords or code words. Just come visit!
So, I haven't written for a long time, the last article more than three weeks ago "Pancakes Guryev, festive. " And today I want to please you with brushwood. The brushwood in my notebook is listed in two versions: "Soft brushwood recipe" and "Crunchy brushwood recipe".
I propose to consider the first option. Don't be intimidated by the word soft, it will definitely have a crisp crust. The fact is that even after lying down, if you do not eat it right away, it does not become wooden through and through, but remains a little soft inside.
Another recipe is slightly different, but not fundamentally. How I will cook crispy brushwood, I will definitely record a video, take a photo and write an article for you.
By the way, now there is a great fast, maybe my article will not be entirely "to the court", but after all, not everyone observes the fast (for example, I). And to those who comply, I wish to withstand it with honor to the end.
Ingredients
For the test, we need:
- 5 eggs, - 1 cup of sugar, - 1 glass of sour cream, - 50 grams of butter, - 1 teaspoon of baking soda, without a slide, - 1 teaspoon of salt, absolutely no slide.
- 1 tablespoon of vodka, - flour, how much the dough will take to make it soft.
- vegetable oil for frying.
- icing sugar, sprinkle with ready-made brushwood.
Recipe for making soft brushwood
Step 1. Beat eggs with a whisk or blender, add sugar to them and beat again.
Step 2. Add sour cream to the resulting egg-sugar mass and beat again.
Step 3. Melt the butter and send it to our dough.
Step 4. Add soda and salt.
Step 5. Pour vodka.
Step 6. Mix the pre-sifted flour into our dough.
Step 7. Knead the soft dough, divide it into parts. We will roll out a layer from each part. Put the dough that you are not working with yet under the cup so that the dough does not dry out on top.
Step 8. Cut the resulting layer into separate rectangles, make a cut in each rectangle. It turns out something like a buttonhole. We stretch one end through the slot, as if turning it inside out. Our brushwood is ready for frying. A rectangular shape is an option, you can make triangular and round with notches like the sun. In any case, it will be beautiful when finished.
Step 9. Pour vegetable oil into the container in which we will fry and heat it up. The size of the saucepan or ladle depends on how much oil you don't mind pouring out. I usually do it in my smallest saucepan. Yes, it takes a little more time to fry than if you put all the dough at once in a bucket pan, but how much oil you save! Fry brushwood on both sides until golden brown.
This is the amount of brushwood obtained with ½ batch. Those. quite a bit of. It is enough to feed a family of 4 people.
Be sure to sprinkle the finished brushwood with icing sugar.
I hope that the question of how to cook brushwood will cease to be a question for you, because You can find the answer to it in a couple of minutes by opening the Internet or looking into your magic hint book, if, of course, you will rewrite this recipe there. And be sure to underline the name "brushwood recipe" to find it faster.
Probably those who read my article "Ruddy baked goods for the festive table", where I said that it is not often possible to tinker with the dough, have already laughed at me, since the last posts "Flowers cookies", "Dumplings with cottage cheese" and "Pies with apples " all this Dough.
You know, the goat has seized the cabbage, I confess! But until I take my soul away, I will not calm down, this is very pleasant business, to tinker with the dough. The other day I made a pie with cabbage, I have a recipe for an excellent dough for this pie. And I'll tell you a cool pie turned out! So, probably, the next article will be with the recipe for this particular test.
And meanwhile, I read on some website that brushwood is quite, I'm not afraid of this word, ancient pastries. Until the 18th century, it was the main dish that was made at Shrovetide. Later, we began to indulge in pancakes. That's how it is!
And for those who are afraid of getting better and therefore do not make delicious ruddy brushwood, I can say that its calorie content is 348 Kcal, a little more than in ordinary bread (on average 270 Kcal), which we eat every day.
So drop all prejudices and help yourself!
