The finished puff pastry is a delight! Of course, now I speak only on my own behalf. But I am sure that if not all, then most of those who are familiar with this product will express themselves with the same emotions. Not really gutting your wallet, you can cook a huge number of amazingly tasty things: puffs, pies, pies, tartlets with various fillings, rolls. I buy puff pastry quite often and always experiment with fillings. Well, those recipes that have already firmly entered the menu of our family, I will describe below.
Puff pastry snack with sausages
Sausages in dough are popular with many adults and children. An excellent alternative to a sandwich satisfies hunger quickly and for a long time. In order not to overpay for a finished product and not to doubt its quality, it is better to cook such a dish at home. Moreover, this process is very easy.
Ingredients:
- 10 sausages;
- 400 g of puff yeast-free dough;
- 1 egg;
- sesame seeds.

Put the puff pastry on a floured work surface, roll it into a rectangular layer no more than 2 mm thick and cut into long strips 2.5 cm wide.

Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving a few centimeters between them.

To create another great snack, you will need foods that are almost always in the refrigerator.
Ingredients:
- 250 g puff pastry;
- 150 g boiled sausage without fat;
- 100 g of hard cheese;
- 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- 1 egg yolk.
Preparation:

Put the dough on the table and roll it into a layer 3-5 mm.

The next option for puff pastry treats is suitable both for a regular meal and for a holiday. Meat balls in amazing airy "nets" are very appetizing and tasty.
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground pork and beef;
- 500 g of puff yeast dough;
- 1 head of onion;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 egg yolk;
- 1 tbsp. l. milk;
- salt and black pepper to taste.

Put the mixed minced meat in a large container. Add finely chopped onions (a small head or half of a large onion), minced garlic, salt and black pepper.

Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

- Roll out a sheet of dough into a rectangular layer. The recommended thickness is 3 mm.

Roll a small dense ball out of the minced meat, wrap it with 2-3 strips of dough, trying to cover the filling as much as possible. Repeat these steps for all the minced meat and dough.

Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 40–45 minutes.

Puff pastry snack pies with liver
The liver can be used not only for preparing first and second courses, salads and snacks, but also as a filling for pies. The puff pastry option is a prime example.
Ingredients:
- 700 g puff pastry;
- 500 g chicken liver;
- 2 onions;
- 50 ml of vegetable oil;
- salt and black pepper to taste.

- Put finely chopped onions in a pan with heated vegetable oil and fry until half cooked.

Add the washed chicken liver to the onion, stir, continue to fry until the offal is fully cooked.

- After 10 minutes of frying the filling ingredients, add salt and black pepper.

Cool the liver with onions, chop with a meat grinder or blender.

Roll out the puff pastry into a layer of 4–5 mm, cut into small rectangles.

Place a small amount of filling on one side of each piece, cover the liver mass with the free half of the dough, pinch the edges, forming patties.

- Transfer the pies to a baking sheet with parchment, brush a little with vegetable oil.

Cook the appetizer at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
The pies will be ready in a quarter of an hour.

Festive puff pastry pies with red fish and mushrooms
If you want to surprise guests at the festive table or just to please your loved ones at a family tea party on a weekend, try making delicate and aromatic pies filled with red fish, mushrooms, rice and spinach. You have to tinker a little, but in the end everyone will be happy.
Ingredients:
- 2 sheets of puff pastry;
- 2 tbsp. l. butter;
- 3 pcs. shallots;
- 450 g of champignons;
- 300 g red fish fillet;
- 1 tbsp. boiled rice;
- 100 g spinach;
- 4-5 sprigs of fresh dill;
- 1 egg;
- salt and black pepper.
Preparation:

Prepare food. Boil until tender and cool the rice. Defrost the spinach and mix with finely chopped dill. Cut the champignons into thin slices, fresh fish into slices, peeled onions into half rings.

Put the onion in a skillet with melted butter and fry for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms, salt and black pepper to taste, stir. Continue cooking in the pan until the liquid has completely evaporated.

- Roll out the dough into thin layers and cut so that you get square small pieces.
- Leave half of the blanks empty. This portion of the dough will form the top of the patties.

On the second part of the dough (for each square), place the previously prepared ingredients: rice, spinach with dill, mushrooms, fish.

- Cover the filling with dough pieces without filling, fasten the edges of the blanks, pressing them with a fork along the entire perimeter.
- Brush the pies with a beaten egg and place in the oven. Cooking temperature - 200 degrees, time - 25-35 minutes.
