And at first I used it strictly for its intended purpose - I poured it into the tray. But over time, I realized that these granules can be useful for solving many everyday problems.

For the first time, I learned that zeolite granules can be useful on the farm from a good friend. She said she uses them to clean fresh stains from upholstered furniture. To do this, you just need to take a handful of the filler and sprinkle it on a wet area. And somewhere in half an hour sweep it into the scoop.

The idea of a friend made me think that cat litter is really good at absorbing moisture. Moreover, it eliminates unpleasant odors, making it even more convenient to use. And then I decided to find an alternative use for it, trying to pour it into the most unexpected places.

Footwear

When cat litter helped me get rid of the dampness in my car, I thought the same method might work with shoes. Up to this point, I had to wash my sneakers and slippers whenever they started to smell of sweat. Silica gel granules helped me here too, absorbing all the moisture from the shoes overnight and removing a specific aroma.
