Laundry instead of a washing machine

The bathroom, which in Russian apartments is usually filled with basins and stretched ropes, is bypassed with a laundry basket and seems very spacious.

It is difficult to find paper wallpapers in overseas apartments. It is accepted that the walls must be painted. Moreover, the decoration in the same style is considered very respectable. Only slight differences in color shades are allowed.

With us, the opposite is true: when renovating, each room gets its own face. To do this, choose different wallpapers, plain and multi-colored, smooth and textured. Perhaps the residents of Russia need something like a change of scenery when moving from one room to another.

Walk-in closet instead of a wardrobe

A room without a dressing room cannot be rented out in the USA. This room is a prerequisite for planning residential buildings. It is equipped with shelves, various containers and a hanger bar for outerwear. In our country, one of the family members could settle here, turning the room into a small workshop.

In general, keeping clothes, shoes and other wardrobe items in a separate compartment is a pretty good idea.

A bathroom in almost every room

For an average house of about 100 sq. meters in the USA there are more than 2 bathrooms or shower rooms. This is how residents take care of their convenience. In the morning, household members do not interfere with each other and can calmly put themselves in order.

There is also an abbreviated version of the bathroom. There is a toilet and one or two washstands. Such a toilet is always located next to the living room or children's playroom.

Shower head without hose

Tourists from Russia are usually surprised by the lack of a shower hose in American bathrooms. The watering can is simply built into the wall, it can only be slightly turned in order to change the direction of the jet.

Having bought an apartment in the United States, the first thing Europeans do is refurbish the bathroom. The usual flexible hose is vital for them, because without it it is impossible to take a shower without wetting your hair.

Dishwasher in the kitchen

It is unlikely that any family in the United States will be able to do without a dishwasher for a long time. Experts are even working to create a robot that loads the dishes on its own.

In our reality, everything is a little different, and plates are usually washed with a sponge under running water. Dishwashers are not that expensive, most likely, they are simply unpopular. However, views are gradually changing. Perhaps the residents of Russia will soon begin to actively acquire such cars.
