5 drinks that men shouldn't drink after 50
There is such an aphorism: first we mock the organism, and then - it over us. Alas, people do not get younger, and therefore it is important to monitor what we eat and drink. This is especially true for those over 50. What drinks are better for men to refuse? We have compiled a list of 5 dangerous "goodies".
Carbonated drinks
Let's start with ordinary mineral water. There is no sugar in it, but it is still a threat. The bubbles irritate the mucous membranes of the entire digestive tract, which provokes blood flow and a deterioration in the supply of nutrients to tissues. The latter accelerates the natural destructive processes in the body. A perfectly healthy person is unlikely to experience negative effects, but in most cases, men over 50 have chronic conditions. Then irritation of the walls of the stomach and intestines can provoke an attack.
A large bottle of sugary soda can hold up to half your daily calories.
Among the possible dangers, doctors name other negative factors. Mineral water is alkaline, therefore it can negatively affect digestion. This is most dangerous for people who have low acidity of gastric juice or pancreatitis.
Alcohol
Alcohol is equated with narcotic substances. A person, being in a state of intoxication, may behave inappropriately and expose themselves to danger, but this is not the only threat. The strongest alcohol affects the kidneys, liver and nervous system, although all internal organs suffer from intoxicating drinks. Alcohol passes through the digestive tract and urinary system, irritating the mucous membranes. This can exacerbate existing diseases, and with prolonged use, provoke the development of a new pathology.
Intoxication occurs as a result of the death of thousands of cells of the cerebral cortex due to hypoxia
Coffee
Coffee is a powerful stimulant. With a single use, it is able to rigidly mobilize all the forces of the body, but in the long term, exhaustion occurs. In the first case, there are sharp drops in pressure and pulse, which has a detrimental effect on the cardiovascular system. With exhaustion, the central nervous system suffers, and sometimes the psyche.
Coffee contains plant hormones that resemble women in structure; for men, abuse is fraught with a change in the timbre of the voice, breast growth and a deterioration in potency
Coffee consumption negatively affects metabolism. The drink impairs the absorption of potassium, sodium, magnesium and calcium, as well as vitamins B1 and B6. Due to the lack of micronutrients, tooth decay accelerates, joint problems appear, and the risk of osteoporosis increases. There is a high likelihood of back and neck pain.
Store juice
In most cases, under the guise of natural juice, a diluted concentrate is sold, which is not made from the highest quality fruits. Its task is to impart a sour taste. The concentrate is diluted with water and sugar, which is incredible in store juices. A liter of drink contains about 560 kcal. This is about a quarter of the daily calorie intake. Add to this the presence of harmful additives: preservatives, dyes, acidity regulators, etc. The result is a mixture that is dangerous for the kidneys and liver, in which there are practically no vitamins, but a lot of calories.
Ideally, it is better to replace ready-made juices with fruits, which contain both fiber and live vitamins; if it is not possible to give up juices, then experts advise replacing packaged juices with freshly squeezed ones or choosing juices with pulp in the store
Instant drinks
The most popular instant drinks are coffee, cream and sugar sticks and fruit powders. The latter contain many additives: thickeners, sweeteners, flavor enhancers, citric acid, sugar, etc. Cope with this periodic table is not easy even for an absolutely healthy body, and after 50 years, the use of such drinks becomes a lottery. Most of all goes to the kidneys and gastrointestinal tract.
3-in-1 coffee, as a rule, does not contain cream and milk at all, but their substitutes. Most often, these are inexpensive vegetable oils that last much longer. The composition is supplemented by acidity regulators and flavoring additives. In fact, coffee producers usually try to save money, since it is the most expensive component. The result is a drink that is more dangerous than the original one: vegetable fats have a negative effect on the liver.
On average, only 15% of the composition of such instant drinks is occupied by real coffee beans.

The use of harmful drinks should be minimized, and it is better to completely exclude. This is especially true when there are already contraindications. This will allow you to stay young and healthy as long as possible.
