Do-it-yourself delicious treat: making a classic chocolate brownie
Chocolate brownie is a wonderful dessert, the recipe for which came to us from the skilled pastry chefs of American cuisine. According to one version, documented on paper, the original treat consisted of cakes with walnuts and apricot glaze. However, today under the word "brownie" you can find dozens of different recipes, each of which finds its admirers. Today I am going to show you how to make a classic chocolate brownie.
Step-by-step recipe for a classic chocolate brownie
When about 10 years ago I accidentally saw a recipe for chocolate brownie in one magazine, I could not ignore it and literally in the evening of the same day I started to act. To say that the experiment was successful is to say nothing. The cake turned out to be just magical and I cook it very often.
Ingredients:
- 200 g of dark chocolate;
- 200 g butter;
- 3 eggs;
- 125 g flour;
- 180 g icing sugar;
- 2 tbsp. l. cocoa powder;
- 80 g of walnut kernels;
- salt on the tip of a knife.
Preparation:
- Cut the butter into cubes.
- Break the chocolate into pieces.
-
Transfer the butter and chocolate to a fireproof container.
Do not forget to use heat-resistant dishes for melting food.
-
Melt food in a water bath or microwave.
Chocolate and butter can be melted in the microwave or in a water bath
-
Stir in the melted ingredients.
The creamy chocolate mixture must be smooth
-
Using a mixer or whisk, beat the eggs with the icing sugar.
A mixer or a regular whisk is suitable for beating eggs and icing sugar.
-
Pour chocolate and cream into the egg mixture, mix everything thoroughly.
The liquid ingredients of the dough are mixed first.
-
Sift flour and cocoa, add to the mixture of eggs, chocolate and butter.
It is recommended to sift flour and cocoa powder before adding to the dough
-
Lightly fry the walnut kernels in a dry frying pan. Roasted nuts will fully reveal their flavor and transfer it to the cake.
Roasting helps the nuts to fully develop their flavor
-
Grind the nuts into coarse crumbs.
Pieces of walnuts in the pie should not be too small
-
Pour nuts into the chocolate mass, stir.
Stir until the walnuts spread throughout the dough.
-
Pour the dough into an oven lined with baking paper.
To easily remove the finished cake from the baking pan, line the baking pan with a sheet of baking paper.
- Place the piece in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, cook (bake) for 20-30 minutes. The finished cake should be slightly damp on the inside and dry on the outside.
-
Let the pie cool slightly, cut into portions and serve with tea or coffee.
