The dish has been familiar to me since childhood, since my sister sometimes cooked such a treat. Golden-brown, sprinkled with snow-white powdered sugar melting from the heat, appetizing balls just ask for a mouthful.

Ingredients:

  • 250 g of cottage cheese;
  • 2 tbsp. flour;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 4 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
  • 1/2 tsp soda;
  • 1 tsp lemon juice;
  • 1 pinch of salt;
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar;
  • 250 ml of refined sunflower oil;
  • icing sugar for dusting.

  2. Use a whisk or mixer to beat the eggs with granulated sugar and vanilla sugar.
  3. Place the curd in a large bowl. If there are large lumps, mash them up with a fork.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into a bowl of cottage cheese, add salt, soda quenched with lemon juice and sifted flour.
  5. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, knead the sticky dough.

  6. Lubricating your hands with a little sunflower oil, shape the dough into small balls 1.5–2 cm in diameter.
