Hearty breakfast: delicious ham and cheese pancakes
Stuffed pancakes are a delicious and satisfying dish, the recipes of which can be found in the cuisines of many peoples of our planet. Fillings for them are very different, but among those that are most common, you can definitely name the classic combination of cheese and ham.
Step-by-step recipe for ham and cheese pancakes
In my student years, I worked as a waitress in one of the summer cafes, the menu of which began with a list of pancakes with different fillings. The employees of the establishment had the opportunity to eat for free and most often ordered pancakes. I also indulged in a couple of thin, butter-browned tortillas, and most of all I liked the chopped ham and grated hard cheese filling.
Ingredients:
- 300 g flour;
- 4-5 eggs;
- 900 ml of milk;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil + for frying pancakes;
- 1 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- 1/2 tsp salt;
- 300 g ham;
- 300 g of hard cheese.
Preparation:

Prepare food.
Stock up on the right ingredients

Beat the eggs with sugar and salt until the crystals are completely dissolved.
Mix eggs with granulated sugar and salt

Pour warm milk over the eggs.
Pour slightly warmed milk over the eggs

Sift flour, add 1/3 part to a bowl of milk and egg mixture and stir thoroughly with a whisk.
Add a third of all flour into the dough

Gradually add the rest of the flour, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Add vegetable oil, stir.
Stir the dough thoroughly to avoid lumps

Pour a small ladle of dough into a skillet greased with vegetable oil and fry until golden brown. Flip the pancake over and cook until browned on the other side. Repeat for the entire test.
Fry pancakes with whole dough

Cut the ham into medium-sized cubes, grate the cheese on a grater with large holes.
Prepare the stuffing products

Place 1-2 tablespoons on a pancake. l. ham and cheese.
Put the filling on the pancake

Fold the edges of the pancake to cover the filling. Roll the pancake into a roll or fold it into an envelope.
Wrap the filling in a pancake

Start all pancakes and serve.
