How to keep kitchen rags clean and not change them too often

A long used rag does not look very aesthetically pleasing and, as a rule, has a musty smell. Disposable wipes are expensive and environmentally hazardous to use. Here are some great life hacks that will make it easy to keep your kitchen utensils clean.

Soaking with vinegar

To keep the rag always smelling good and looking neat, it is sometimes recommended to soak it in 5% vinegar. You can buy such a ready-made solution or prepare it yourself from 70% essence. It is enough to hold the fabric in it for about 10 minutes, and then rinse.

Microwave

Boiling removes most of the stubborn stains. The process can be simplified if the house has a microwave.

The rags are moistened, soaped and placed in a plastic bag. You do not need to tie it so that there is a steam outlet.

The microwave is turned on for 3 minutes. Then a regular wash and rinse is required.

Soda

To keep the rag always fresh, you must periodically wash it in a baking soda solution. You can do it by hand or use a washing machine.
