Pastries stuffed with green onions and boiled eggs can rightfully be considered a classic among jellied pies. This dish is loved by both novice hostesses and experienced chefs, because it is easy to prepare it, and the products are common and available to everyone. And it will take only half an hour to bake the cake.

Step-by-step recipe for jellied pie with onions and eggs

In one of my articles, I talked about a neighbor grandmother from my childhood, who often treated us to various delicious homemade dishes. A frequent dish on her table was pastry pies with onion and egg filling. Sometimes, either due to lack of time, or for another reason, the woman simplified the task and cooked a simple jellied pie with the same filling. The recipe for this pastry is still kept in one of the old notebooks in our kitchen.

  • 1-2 bunches of green onions;

  • 300 g flour;
  • 150 g butter;
  • 1.5 tsp. baking powder;
