Step-by-step Easter egg recipes
In our family, eggs are on the menu almost every day. However, after Easter, about a dozen dyes often remain, which you do not want to keep in the refrigerator for a long time. And then you have to turn on your imagination and create something new. Given the fact that boiled eggs go well with a wide range of products, there are no particular problems here. The first thing I do is make a puff fish salad, which has become one of my husband's favorite foods, or a minced meat roll with egg filling. Well, the remaining eggs make wonderful snacks that can be put on both a regular table and a festive one.
Meatloaf with boiled eggs
The simplest to prepare dish that will decorate any meal.
Ingredients:
- 700 g minced meat;
- 1 raw egg
- 6 boiled eggs;
- 1 tbsp. l. mustard;
- 1 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
- 2 tbsp. l. decoys;
- 1 head of onion;
- 1/2 bunch of green onions;
- 1 tbsp. l. butter;
- 1 tbsp. l. refined sunflower oil;
- salt and black pepper.
Preparation:
- Place the minced meat (beef or mixed) in a bowl, add the raw egg semolina, mustard, mayonnaise, 1/2 tsp. salt and a couple of pinches of ground black pepper. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and leave the mixture for half an hour so that the semolina swells.
-
In a frying pan with a heated mixture of butter and sunflower oil, fry the chopped onions until golden brown.
Chop and sauté onions
-
Cut boiled eggs into small cubes or grate on a coarse grater, mix with finely chopped green and fried onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste, stir.
Prepare boiled eggs
-
Put the minced meat on a large piece of foil for baking, spread evenly over the entire surface, forming a large rectangular layer about 2 cm thick.
Place the minced meat on a sheet of foil
-
Transfer the egg-onion filling to the meat preparation, spread over the entire surface, leaving 2.5-3 cm from each edge.
Spread the mixture of eggs and onions evenly over the meat
-
While gently lifting the edges of the foil, wrap the edges of the meat layer to form a roll.
Form a roll
- Wrap the roll in foil, place in a hot oven and bake for 50-60 minutes at 180 degrees.
- Cut the foil 10 minutes before the end of cooking and let the roll brown.
-
Cool the finished meal, cut into portions and serve as an appetizer or as a main course with a side dish of your choice.
Serve the roll as a stand-alone dish or with a side dish
