Alligator pear (as the tropical fruit is otherwise called) goes well with many other products, therefore it is often used in cooking for making snacks, salads, sandwiches and other cold dishes. Today we are going to talk about how to introduce avocado into your diet using simple and quick salads.
Step-by-step recipes for quick and delicious avocado salads
My childhood fell on Soviet times, when store shelves were not replete with a luxurious selection of exotic fruits and vegetables. Oranges, tangerines and frozen pineapples - that's, perhaps, all that I remember from the unusual overseas fruits sold at that time. Therefore, later, when I grew up, and the shopping arcade began to give the buyer the opportunity to a wide selection of all kinds of products, my active acquaintance with those gifts of nature began, the taste of which was hitherto unknown to me. One of the first new "acquaintances" was the avocado. The nondescript-looking fruit impressed me with its unusual pulp structure and taste. Since then to this day, the alligator pear is almost always present on my menu in the form of salads and other excellent dishes.
Avocado salad with strawberries and watercress
This dish is an ideal dinner option for any person who loves light, beautiful and healthy dishes.
Ingredients:
- 150 g avocado;
- 150 g strawberries;
- 40-50 g spinach leaves;
- 10 g watercress;
- 40 g balsamic vinegar;
- 40 g olive oil;
- 40 g of liquid honey;
- 1 tsp lemon juice.
Preparation:

Pour balsamic vinegar, olive oil and honey into a small container.
For salad dressing, you need honey, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Mix the dressing ingredients thoroughly.
To make the sauce homogeneous, you must mix all the ingredients in it very well.

Cut the peeled and pitted avocado into medium-sized cubes and drizzle with lemon juice. Cut the strawberries into 4-8 pieces.

- Place the washed and dried spinach leaves, avocado and strawberry slices on a large plate.

To keep the fruit pieces and spinach leaves intact, stir the salad from the bottom up with two spoons or scoops

- 150 g avocado;
- 100 g feta cheese;
- 150 g cucumbers;
- 150 g tomatoes;
- 150 g bell pepper;
- 100 g pitted olives;
- 100 g lettuce leaves;
- 50 ml olive oil;
- 1/2 lemon;
- 1/2 tsp salt;
- ground black pepper to taste.
Preparation:

Prepare the necessary ingredients in advance

Peel and seed the avocado, cut into cubes, pour over with lemon juice.
To prevent the sliced avocado from darkening, drizzle a few drops of lemon juice over the slices

Rinse the lettuce leaves and dry well.
Before using lettuce leaves, wash them thoroughly under running water and remove excess liquid

Tear the lettuce leaves into small pieces with your hands and transfer to a deep container.
Place prepared ingredients in a deep bowl or saucepan
