Ingredients for manna
As you already understood, the peculiarity of this dessert is in the filling of apples and semolina in the dough. The standard set of ingredients for manna is as follows:
- semolina;
- flour;
- sugar;
- kefir;
- eggs;
- butter or margarine;
-
soda.
You can easily prepare a great dessert from such a simple set of products.
If desired, you can add seasonings - anise, cinnamon, vanilla. In addition, many housewives replace kefir with milk, sour cream or yogurt - this helps to diversify the taste of baked goods and change the consistency of the dough.
The mannik turns out to be crumbly, soft, the main thing is that the semolina is completely invisible in it! And this is very important if your children categorically refuse to eat healthy semolina. Dessert with apples will perfectly replace it.

- 250 g semolina;
- 4 fresh apples;
- 1 bag of baking powder;
- 120 g melted butter;

- 3 tablespoons flour;
- 1 tablespoon of starch;
- cinnamon, vanillin - to taste;
- 0.5 cups baked milk.

- Mix butter and sugar, pour into semolina mixture. Add baking powder, cinnamon and vanillin there. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. At the very end of the process, add flour and starch, mix again.
- The dough should reach a medium consistency - not thick and not runny. Try to regulate this by adding a little flour.
-
Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. Grease a deep mold with butter, put half of the dough there. Spread the apple slices over it and cover with the remaining dough. It's time to send the form to an oven preheated to 170 degrees and bake the contents for 45 minutes.

- When the manna is cooked, it needs to be soaked. Pierce the surface in several places with a fork and pour over heated baked milk with sugar. Let it sit for 20 minutes, then turn over and pour over the rest of the soak. After another 10 minutes, you can serve manna on the table!
