However, when self-painting, many will face unpleasant surprises in the form of strange shades and uneven color. These troubles can be avoided and the result is beautiful coloration at home.

We select a shade

When dyeing, it is better to choose a color close to natural. If the blonde hair can be dyed chocolate or even black, then it will not be possible to become a blonde immediately from a brunette, you will need to lighten in several stages.

How to apply blonde dye

If, nevertheless, you decide to carry out the lightening procedure at home, there are several recommendations. First, pick up a high-quality clarifier (they are usually not cheap), otherwise your hair may just fall off, blonde dyes are very aggressive.

Brightening agents must be applied in a special way. Hair must be dry and preferably dirty. After applying the dye, they must not be heated, the dye must also not be mixed with water or shampoo, as this reduces the degree of lightening and provokes the appearance of a yellow tint. Blond dye should be applied generously, so the lightening effect will be better.

If hair roots have grown back

To avoid a noticeable difference between roots and length, the dye must first be applied to the roots, temples and parting, wait about 10 minutes and only then distribute the product along the entire length.

Henna staining

Henna can only be applied to hair that has not been dyed before, otherwise you risk getting, for example, green. Henna staining technology is slightly different from conventional paint. Henna is diluted in very hot water, after which it is evenly distributed over the curls. This must be done quickly, until the product has cooled down, otherwise it will not paint over all the strands.

1. To prevent the skin from staining, first apply the cream to it.
2. Before painting, it is best to test for an allergic reaction according to the instructions.
3. Make sure that the strands are completely dry, so the paint will lay better.
4. Choose shampoo and conditioner for colored hair to keep the color fresh.
