A resume, like any other document, can be presented in two forms: paper and electronic. The choice of format directly depends on how you are looking for a job. If you want to get a job in a specific company (one or more) and it or one of its branches is located in your city, then you must bring a document in paper form - the employer will see that you are interested in looking for work, once you have found the time and arrived at the office, to submit your resume. If the company where you want to work is small (that is, the flow of new employees - your competitors - is insignificant) and is located in another city and you do not have the opportunity to bring documents, you can send them by regular mail (for example, by registered mail).
An electronic resume should be written in an adequate font that is easy to read without increasing the size of the document
If you simply submit your resume to one of the job search sites, then, of course, it must be in electronic form. If you think that there is a large flow of new employees in the company where you want to work, and you cannot personally bring a paper resume, then you can send it to the HR department in electronic form.
How to write a resume when looking for a job (sample)
In order for the resume to be well received by the employer, it is necessary to break it down into separate parts:
- surname, name, patronymic: write your details and highlight them in some way: in bold or larger type;
- personal data: date of birth, age (the employer has no desire to calculate how old you are), marital status, whether there are children and how old they are; if you are a citizen of another state - please indicate this;

contacts: you can skip the separate section and write together with the previous part; the address, contact numbers, e-mail address are indicated; you can specify the address of residence, but not the full one, but, for example, the district or the nearest metro station;
For convenience, you can fill out ready-made templates by inserting or removing separate sections
- purpose: the position or the type of work that you are looking for; here you can also indicate the salary that you would like to have; it is advisable to indicate not a specific amount, but a minimum threshold, adding the word "from";
- education: companies need people either with higher education (maybe incomplete higher education) or with secondary vocational education (college, technical school, etc.); school education is of no interest to anyone; the year of admission and the year of graduation from the educational institution, its name (full) and the city where the training took place, faculty or institute, specialty (as in the diploma) and qualifications are indicated; if there are several higher educations, then in the first place it is necessary to put the one that is more suitable for the given vacancy, and if there is no difference, then they are put in chronological order;

additional education: courses, trainings, seminars (you must attach photocopies of certificates and certificates); indicate only what may be useful to you in your work, but not everything that you have ever attended; first, the year of completion of the courses, their duration, full name and the company that conducted them are indicated;
For any position, you must correctly draw up a resume
- qualifications: the most significant, in your opinion, skills and abilities that you have and that can be useful in your work; you can indicate achievements, work experience; the item is optional;
- work experience: all labor activity (starting from the last place of work); the period of work (month and year of the beginning - month and year of the end), the name and scope of the company, the position held (or several), a list of your responsibilities are indicated; you can indicate your main achievements in this position; main point;

- special skills: speed of typing on a computer, driving experience or any other;
- knowledge of languages: the native language is put first, and then all those languages that you know follow; for European languages, you can also indicate the level of proficiency;
- computer skills: the software you own and their level of knowledge;

- interests and hobbies: list everything you enjoy doing (fishing, football, skiing, walking); if you indicate "travel", then list the countries you have been to;

If you have no work experience (you are a student or just graduated from any educational institution), then you do not need to insert parts related to work experience in your resume. Some write in the "work experience" section that they do not have one or simply put a dash - this looks like a disadvantage, and the likelihood that you will be invited for an interview decreases.
Internship (even 1 month) can be indicated as work experience

Lawyer
The time of specialists in law is very expensive, so it will be a positive moment if the resume is written in a strict business style.
