My acquaintance with the quick cabbage pie happened spontaneously. As happens with many of us, one day I really wanted to fill the house with the unique aroma of homemade baked goods and enjoy something delicious. My first thought was to make a yeast pie, but the realization that I would have to fiddle with the dough and languish in anticipation for a rather long period of time pushed me to a simpler action - a pie with pouring. There was enough sweetness in the house, so I decided to use half of the cabbage left after cooking the borsch as a filling. The pie turned out to be amazingly tasty, so now I cook it quite often, while adding new ingredients to the filling each time.
Quick pie with cabbage and eggs on kefir
One of the simplest recipes for cabbage jellied pie, products for which can be found in the kitchen almost always.
Ingredients:
- 500 ml of kefir;
- 3 raw eggs + 2 boiled eggs;
- 2 tbsp. flour;
- 50 g butter + for greasing the cake;
- 1 tsp Sahara;
- 1 tsp soda;
- 700 g white cabbage;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 head of onion;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- greens;
- salt and black pepper.
Preparation:

Prepare foods for the filling.
Place the filling ingredients on your work surface
- Cut the cabbage into squares with a side of 1.5-2 cm, onions - into cubes. Grate the carrots on a grater with large holes.

Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil until semi-soft.

Place the cabbage in a frying pan, stirring occasionally, and fry over high heat for 3-5 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer vegetables until tender.

Transfer the finished cabbage to a bowl, mix with finely chopped boiled eggs, chopped herbs, salt and black pepper to taste.

- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Beat eggs with granulated sugar and 1 tsp. salt, pour in kefir, stir the mixture. Gradually add the sifted flour and baking soda to the bowl. The consistency of the dough should resemble sour cream.

- Pour melted and cooled butter into the prepared pie pan.

Pour 2/3 of the dough into a baking dish, put the egg-vegetable mass on top, distribute it evenly over the entire surface.

- Pour the remaining dough into the mold.
- Place the cake in a hot oven and cook the pie for 40 minutes.

Quick pie with cabbage and minced meat with sour cream and mayonnaise
This version of the cabbage quick pie turns out to be more satisfying, since there is meat in the filling. Minced pork can be replaced with beef, mixed or poultry (chicken, turkey).
Ingredients:
- 400 g white cabbage;
- 1 head of onion;
- 200 g minced pork;
- 6 tbsp. l. flour;
- 3 eggs;
- 6 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
- 5 tbsp. l. sour cream;
- 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste;
- 2 tsp baking powder;
- 20 g butter;
- 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- 1-2 sprigs of fresh dill;
- 1 tbsp. l. sesame seeds;
- salt and black pepper to taste.
Preparation:
- Cut the onion head into small cubes.

Grate cabbage on a coarse grater or chop very finely with a knife.

- Melt the butter in a large skillet, add the vegetable oil, and heat the mixture.
- Put onion and cabbage in hot oil, fry until soft, salt and pepper, simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

Add tomato paste and chopped dill to the vegetable mass, cook for another 5 minutes.

Transfer the minced meat to the pan, stir with the cabbage, continue simmering, covered for 15 minutes.

Combine eggs beaten with salt with mayonnaise and sour cream, add 1-2 pinches of ground black pepper, beat until smooth.

- Sift flour into a bowl of egg mixture and stir thoroughly to avoid lumps.
- Pour half of the dough into a baking dish.

Put the cabbage and meat filling in an even layer, lightly press the surface of the mass with a large spoon.

Pour in the other half of the dough, flatten and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

- Mix eggs, salt, sugar, kefir and semolina in a large container. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes so that the cereal is saturated with liquid.
