TOP 5 healthy children's breakfasts
Numerous breakfast options for little whims can be found on the Internet. We offer you a small selection of the most interesting ones.
Carrot cake with vanilla and cinnamon
Carrots have a rather pleasant taste, but many children categorically refuse to eat them. But this vegetable is so healthy! We suggest you "disguise" the root vegetable and serve it in the form of a wonderful cupcake.
- 2 tbsp. grated carrots;
- 75 ml olive oil;
- 2 eggs;
- 1.5 tbsp. wheat flour;
- 1.5 tbsp. Sahara;
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar;
- 1.5 tsp. baking powder;
- 1 tsp cinnamon;
- 1/2 tsp salt.
Vanilla sugar can be replaced with citrus zest or ground ginger
- Beat eggs with granulated sugar and vanilla sugar into a strong foam, pour in olive oil.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon. Gradually add the resulting mixture to the liquid part of the dough.
- Add the grated carrots and mix well.
Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet and flatten.
Cupcake can be baked large or in portions
Bake the cake at 160 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
The readiness of the cake inside can be checked with a wooden skewer
Cool the finished cake and cut into portions.
Before serving, the cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar, coconut or grated chocolate
It seems that such a breakfast is troublesome and time-consuming. In fact, it only takes half an hour, of which most of the time the cake will be in the oven, and you can help the child with clothes and water procedures. If you have time and desire, baked goods can be turned into delicious cakes. For example, beat 200 g of cream cheese with 2/3 cup of powdered sugar and vanilla, cover the surface of the cake with cream and send it to the refrigerator for an hour. Then cut and decorate, as your fantasy tells you.

Quick omelet with tomatoes and peas
Boiled or fried eggs are one of the most common breakfast foods, but not all kids enjoy the usual options. There is an exit! The combination of delicate omelet and bright vegetables will surely attract the baby's attention.
- 2 eggs;
- 1 tbsp. l. milk;
- 1 tbsp. l. green peas;
- 3-4 cherry tomatoes;
- 2-3 sprigs of greenery;
- 1 tbsp. l. butter;
- salt to taste.
While the butter is melting in the skillet, beat the eggs with milk and a pinch of salt.
Suitable for making an omelet is cow's or goat's milk.
- Pour the egg and milk mixture into a hot skillet and cook the omelet on low heat for 2 minutes.
Cut the cherry into thin slices. Rinse and dry the parsley.
The dish will turn out brighter if you use tomatoes of different colors.
- When the lower part of the omelet begins to set, and the liquid part from above has not yet hardened, form 3 flowers on the surface, laying out the petals from cherry circles.
- Decorate the flowers by making the centers from peas, and the stems and twigs from fresh herbs. Spread the remaining peas over the entire omelet.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook for another 2 minutes. Done!
The omelet can be garnished with parsley, dill or other herbs that your child eats.
Curd smoothie with blueberries and honey
Some children, like some adults, do not like hearty breakfasts, so feeding them in the morning is not an easy task. In no case do not force the little man to eat through force. Just offer him a lighter version of his morning meal.
- 100 g fat-free cottage cheese;
- 100 g of curdled milk;
- 100 g blueberries;
- 1 tsp natural honey.
Rinse blueberries and place in a blender bowl. Set a few berries aside.
Smoothies can be made with both fresh and frozen berries
- Add cottage cheese, low-fat yogurt and a spoonful of honey to the berries.
Using a high speed blender, whisk the ingredients until smooth.
Smoothies can be prepared using a hand or stand blender
Pour the smoothie into a wide, low glass or pretty jar and garnish with the remaining berries.
Blueberries can be substituted with any other berries
Oatmeal with berries and butter
One of the healthiest foods that is recommended for children and adults for breakfast is often undesirable for a child. But one has only to fantasize a little with serving the dish, and the baby is already happily clapping his hands and devours the previously hated porridge on both cheeks.
- 1 oatmeal;
- 1 glass of water;
- 1 glass of milk;
- 2-3 tbsp. l. butter;
- 2 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- 2 fresh strawberries;
- 3 berries, fresh or frozen blueberries.
Pour oatmeal water over the flakes and cook over low heat until thickened.
For baby porridge, it is recommended to take oatmeal that requires cooking
Continuing to stir the food, pour hot milk into the pan, add sugar and continue cooking until the porridge thickens again.
If honey is added instead of sugar for sweetness, it is placed in a plate with a ready-made dish
- Remove the saucepan from the stove, season the porridge with butter, stir and cover.
Decorate the portions of porridge laid out on a plate with a berry animal: shape the ears, eyes, nose and mouth of the animal from strawberries and blueberries.
Any fruits or berries are suitable for decorating children's oatmeal.
Beautiful sandwich "Bunny" with ham and cheese
A variety of sandwiches have been and remain one of the most popular breakfasts and quick snacks throughout the day. A tasty, healthy and satisfying meal can be made from any food found in the refrigerator. I know for myself that this is the easiest dish to prepare for breakfast on weekdays. My eldest daughter is very picky about food, so for several years in a row, my only salvation was a good fantasy. Now I can't even remember how many different sandwiches I had to invent. But I can say with confidence that if you count all my works in this area, then there will be about one and a half hundred of them … Today I offer one of the simplest.
- 2 slices of toast bread;
- 2 slices of ham;
- 2 slices of hard cheese;
- 2-3 feathers of green onions;
- 1 olive;
Dry the bread in the toaster.
In addition to the toaster, bread can be dried in a dry frying pan or in the oven
Place a slice of ham on each slice of bread.
The ham can be replaced with thin slices of cooked sausage
- Prepare bunny blanks from cheese (head, ears, torso and legs).
- Form a bun by placing cheese on top of the ham.
Finish off by decorating the sandwich with slices of olives (eyes), onions (antennae and grass) and ketchup (muzzle and legs).
