One of them says that you cannot wash the floors before leaving. What is the reason for such a ban and what will happen if it is violated?

Trips, especially long ones, have always caused people to feel a sense of danger and uncertainty. Although the reasons for fear change over time, the fear does not leave travelers and their loved ones, therefore superstitions associated with the road are still relevant.

One of the main prohibitions is considered to be washing floors just before leaving. It is believed that if a person mops the floor and leaves home, then he may never return there. After all, water will wash away all the memory of the owner, thereby "removing" him from the home.

If someone in the household starts washing the floors before you hit the road, there is a danger that luck will turn away from you.

There are also a number of signs about cleaning the house, after the departure of one of the household or guests:

1. Do not sweep after the guest has left. Such actions will bring him misfortune and danger on the road - "they will sweep the way."
2. You can't wash the floors just before your relatives leave - you can bring discord into the house.
3. By cleaning up immediately after the departure of visiting relatives, you can erase all memories of them, thus loved ones will never appear in your house.
4. If any of the household members turned out to be a traveler, then it is impossible to wash the floors in the house for three days, otherwise the path will be darkened by troubles.
5. After the matchmakers leave, it is also impossible to wash the floors - the future wedding may not take place.

You can tidy up the house only when the traveler gets to his destination. However, if the guest was unwanted, then by washing the floor immediately after he left, you will wash off all the negative after him and close his way to your house.

Many signs say that washing the floors before leaving is a bad idea, it is better to sit down on the path in the old fashioned way and remember whether you took everything you needed. And after seeing guests or household members on a long journey, help them get to their destination with thoughts and good energy, and then start cleaning the house.
