Shish kebab with coal and smoke: fried in an apartment, but no one believes me
You can find a huge number of recipes for cooking barbecue, but at home there are not so many. It is either simply to fry the marinated meat in advance, or to cook it in an electric BBQ grill. But in both cases, the taste will not be the same, because the main highlight will be absent - the smell of "haze".
My friend told me in secret how to cook delicious barbecue at home. I decided to check if this recipe works.
We will need:
- 2 chicken breasts;
- 2 tbsp. l. sour cream;
- 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil (preferably olive oil);
- 0.5 tsp salt;
- 0.5 tsp ground coriander;
- 0.5 tsp sweet paprika,
- ¼ h. L. ground black pepper;
- 1 piece of medium sized charcoal.
First, cut the chicken into large cubes, about 5 * 5 cm.
For the marinade, I take a small bowl and mix salt with spices, add oil, lemon juice and sour cream, mix everything thoroughly. An incredible smell will appear immediately. I also send our chicken here and mix everything well to soak it with a fragrant mixture. I leave the meat to marinate for 30-40 minutes, covered with foil.
After the specified time, I take out the chicken from the marinade. I fry it on all sides in a pan, adding a small amount of vegetable oil.
While the meat is roasting, I light a piece of charcoal by placing it directly on the gas burner.
When our coal is on fire, in the center of the pan, where the meat is fried, I put a piece of foil with a "boat", and in it - burned coal. I pour a little oil on it (to create a "haze") and cover it all with a lid.
The smoke from the coal will spread inside. After a few minutes, the breast will be saturated with the smell of smoke and will acquire an incredible taste - like on a fire.
Such a shish kebab with smoke in a frying pan will be even tastier, since the chicken turns out to be very juicy, not overdried, as it happens on a fire.
There will be no smoke in the room where you are frying, do not worry. The mild and mouth-watering aroma will spread throughout the kitchen.
By the way, my neighbor, who is also a friend, dropped in for tea as usual after work. I treated her to my masterpiece, but she did not believe that I cooked meat at home. It's really incredibly delicious! Try this original recipe and surprise your family!
