What you need to freeze to forget about skin problems
If there are no contraindications and allergies, then you can use products based on natural products to eliminate skin imperfections. Make your own cosmetic ice, it will help prolong youth, improve complexion and skin condition.
Strawberry or raspberry juice
For a long time, women have used fresh berries to preserve their beauty and youthfulness. They are rich in vitamin C, which effectively fights against age-related changes. To make juice, you can use a juicer or just knead the berries and strain the gruel through cheesecloth. Both strawberries (wild strawberries) and raspberries will do.
The berry ice cube massage tones the skin better than any expensive product, softens and moisturizes dry skin, smoothes fine wrinkles and improves complexion.
Lemon juice
The use of lemon juice for cosmetic purposes is indicated for people with oily skin. A sour ice massage will remove excess shine and make the skin more tender. In terms of effectiveness, such a procedure is not inferior to professional peeling with fruit acids.
Citrus ice will help remove stratum corneum, unclog and tighten pores and make them less visible. Lemon juice is recommended for women whose skin is prone to the appearance of freckles or age spots. After a week of ice massage, the skin becomes noticeably lighter, and the pigmentation is less pronounced.
No special tools are required to make ice. You can squeeze lemon juice by hand directly above the freezer container.
However, it is necessary to take into account the reaction of the skin to aggressive acid and test the effect of lemon on a small, inconspicuous area, for example, behind the ear. If you feel a strong burning sensation and notice significant redness, then before use, the juice should be diluted with mineral water without gas.
Chamomile decoction
Chamomile is known for its disinfectant and emollient properties. It is taken orally for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and spasms of smooth muscles.
External use of chamomile is recommended for people with oily and irritated skin, prone to purulent rashes. Fresh flowers, dried petals, and chamomile tea bags are also suitable for preparing the infusion.
A teaspoon of raw materials (or one portioned sachet) is poured with a glass of boiling water, insisted under the lid for an hour, filtered and, after cooling completely, is frozen.
Mint decoction
A frozen infusion of mint has properties similar to chamomile ice. For its preparation, you can use fresh herbs (in this case, the product will be more saturated) or dry mint; leaves and stems of a plant will do.
Mint cryomassage is indicated for people with combination skin type. The oval of the face will be tightened, the skin will become softer, and oily shine will disappear on the forehead, nose and chin. Two teaspoons of raw materials are poured into a glass of boiling water, insisted, filtered, poured into molds and placed in the freezer.
It should be borne in mind that mint contains menthol, which dilates blood vessels, therefore such a decoction is categorically not suitable for people whose skin is prone to rosacea.
Oatmeal infusion
Oats contain microelements that are essential for the human body and a whole range of vitamins. The most important for the skin are A, E and N. They nourish, moisturize, protect against the negative effects of ultraviolet radiation, prevent flaking and wrinkles. Iron, magnesium, manganese, zinc, magnesium, also contained in oatmeal, relieve inflammation, accelerate skin regeneration and improve lymph and blood microcirculation.
For the preparation of the infusion, only natural flakes are suitable, without fillers. Oatmeal (2 tablespoons per glass of water) is poured with boiling water and left overnight. The resulting mass is filtered through a fine sieve or several layers of gauze and frozen.
With regular use of such ice, the cheeks acquire a healthy glow, acne and blackheads disappear, and fine wrinkles are smoothed out.
Sea water
Many people notice that after a seaside vacation, the face becomes cleaner and looks fresh. This is the result of exposure not only to sunlight, but also to sea water.
A great way to prolong the cosmetic effect after the holiday is to make ice from a saturated sea salt solution. You can use bath salt, but choose a natural product that has no aromatic additives.
For a glass of water (preferably mineral water without gas), one teaspoon of sea salt is enough. The solution is stirred, filtered to get rid of foreign impurities, poured into molds and put into the freezer.
Rubbing your face with salt ice is the easiest way to get rid of skin rashes that arise from the negative effects of polluted city air.
Linden infusion
Linden blossom is used to treat mainly colds - gargle with infusion, do inhalations. Thanks to its antibacterial properties, linden flowers can help get rid of acne and blackheads. You can pick the linden blossom yourself on trees growing far from factories and highways, or buy a pack of dried flowers at the pharmacy.
Raw materials are brewed with boiling water. For cosmetic purposes, 2 tbsp is enough. l. for 0.5 liters of water. It is kept under the lid for 15–20 minutes, filtered, cooled and frozen.
You can wipe your face with ice daily or when rashes appear. In addition, vitamins C and A and essential oils contained in the linden blossom infusion help to restore skin cells, brighten it, heal minor scratches and stimulate collagen production.
Watermelon juice
Sweet watermelon juice is rarely used in cosmetology. But it contains vitamins A and C, folic acid and potassium. These microelements moisturize and tone the skin, prevent it from fading, help maintain water balance and heal minor damage.
To make ice from watermelon juice, the pulp of a ripe berry is pitted, ground in a blender or kneaded with a fork, filtered and poured into a freezing container.
