Due to the vacuum pressure, the film is tightly pressed against the door and is fixed with high quality.

It is unlikely that it will be possible to make a high-quality PVC door at home due to the lack of a heat chamber.

Installation of PVC doors

Installation of PVC doors is carried out in the same sequence as the installation of doors of another type. If you have certain skills and know how to work with plumbing tools, then it will not be difficult for you to install a PVC door.

Preparing for installation

4. The protruding parts are cut off with a circular saw.

5. The gaps are treated with polyurethane foam and left to dry completely (usually for a day).

6. Excess foam is cut to the level of the box with a mounting knife.
7. The frame of the slopes is being mounted.

8. The finishing panels are fixed with polymer glue.

9. The door is hinged.

After installing the door, it is necessary to check the smoothness of its movement and the tightness of the closing. If problems appear, the door leaf is adjusted with a screwdriver. The fixing hinges have special bolts for this.

Operation and maintenance of PVC doors

Good PVC doors are able to withstand a large number of openings. The service life of such doors is approximately 40 years, and they do not require special maintenance.

To clean the door leaf from dirt, simply wash it with warm water and a small amount of dishwashing liquid. It is better not to use corrosive substances, as they can damage the PVC film. Acetone, thinner and alcohol are also not suitable for cleaning, as they corrode the coating and spoil the appearance of the door. Powdered detergents should not be used as they scratch the film.

If the PVC film is partially peeled off from the front of the door, it must be glued. In no case should there be direct contact between the iron and the film - put a rag between them. After heating, stick the PVC foil with a soft roller. How to remove a PVC door from the hinges

It is often necessary to remove the door from its hinges. Every owner should be able to do this. This task is not difficult, but the catch is that the loops are of different types. Therefore, you need to be able to understand them.

Removing the door from the hinges depends on their type:

1. Card loops. The most familiar hinges. They are two halves, designed according to the principle of a puzzle. Installed by plunging or overlapping on the end of the door. It is quite easy to remove the door from such hinges. It is enough just to raise the door and, slightly turning it, wait for the moment when the upper part of the hinge comes off the pin of the lower one.

   

   Dismantling should be done only in the open position, otherwise you will not be able to raise the door to the required height, since the canvas will rest against the box

2. Screw-in hinges. They look like a hairpin recessed into the door leaf and box. The door from such hinges is a little more difficult to remove. The hinge axis has a hinge pin, which must be pulled out of the structure with a screwdriver; the door must be closed before this. When all the pins are out, simply remove the blade.

   

   Since the main load falls on the upper part of the structure, it is best to start work from the lower hinge

3. Hidden hinges. Such hinges are completely hidden in the door leaf, improving its appearance. However, due to this, it is rather difficult to remove the door from the hinges.
