Lovers of mouth-watering, tasty and healthy seafood know that squid goes well with many other ingredients. Thanks to this, hundreds of simple and complex salads can be prepared from marine life, each of which finds its fans. How to choose the best squid salad? It is difficult to answer this question, because everyone chooses a dish to their liking. Today I bring to your attention a mini-selection of recipes for a wonderful meal that I like more than anyone else.
Step-by-step recipes for delicious squid salads
I want to note that even the simplest in terms of the set of ingredients and the process of preparation, salads with squid perfectly fit into the picture of the festive table, not to mention the daily routine meals. I cook such dishes often. This is explained not only by my taste preferences, but also by the fact that canned and boiled (frozen) seafood are sold in supermarkets, which are very convenient to use: they do not need to be peeled and boiled.
Salad with squid and shrimps without mayonnaise
I'll start with the variant that appears most often on our table. Since my husband is not a special supporter of mayonnaise in any dishes, I try to look for recipes that would please him and all the rest of the family.
Ingredients:
- 300 g boiled squid;
- 150 g peeled shrimp;
- 200 g of Chinese cabbage;
- 10-15 pitted olives;
- 1 boiled egg;
- 3 tbsp. l. olive oil;
- 1 tbsp. l. white wine vinegar;
- 1 tsp mustard;
- sea salt to taste;
- ground black pepper - to taste.
Preparation:

Prepare the dressing by carefully mixing the vinegar, mustard, olive oil, salt and black pepper in a small container.

- Dip the shrimps in boiling water, blanch for 1 minute, then discard in a colander.

Chop the Chinese cabbage thinly.

Put the olives on a sieve to drain the brine, then cut into rings.

Peel the film of the squid carcasses and remove the chitinous plates. Cut the seafood into strips.

Transfer all prepared ingredients to a large bowl or deep bowl, season with sauce and stir well.

Put the finished food in portioned plates or put on a large dish, garnish with quarters of a boiled egg, season with pepper and salt (optional).

Squid salad with Korean carrots
A vibrant and amazingly delicious salad that requires just a few simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 2 boiled squid carcasses;
- 100-150 g of Korean carrots;
- 2 boiled eggs;
- 2-3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
- 1-2 sprigs of fresh parsley.
Preparation:
- Put the Korean carrots in a colander beforehand to get rid of excess liquid.

Cut the squid into thin strips.

Transfer the seafood and carrots to a bowl.

Peel boiled eggs, cut into strips and send to the rest of the ingredients, mix.

Squid salad with white beans and fresh cucumbers
A hearty salad that can be easily used as an independent dish or offered as a side dish for fish and poultry.
Ingredients:
- 2 jars of canned squid;
- 4 boiled eggs;
- 2 fresh cucumbers;
- 1 can of canned white beans
- 1 bunch of green onions;
- 1-2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
- salt and black pepper to taste.
Preparation:

Place the salad items on your work surface.

- Place the squid and beans in 2 different colander. Rinse the beans. Leave the food for 10 minutes to glass the water.

Wash fresh cucumbers, dry and cut into medium sized cubes.
