Delicate squid meat is a versatile seafood that goes well with vegetables, mushrooms, meat, fish and seafood (including algae), pasta and cereals, cheese, mushrooms, nuts and herbs. Due to their wonderful taste and useful properties, squids are used to prepare excellent dishes, among which special attention is paid to salads. Step-by-step squid salad recipes
Seafood is my weakness. One of the favorite holiday dishes of my childhood was a salad of squid, grated hard cheese, canned green peas, garlic and mayonnaise. This delicious taste cannot be forgotten. And I didn't. Moreover, she introduced her family to him. Since everyone in the household turned out to be lovers of delicious seafood, I began to experiment and prepare different versions of salad with squid, which I found on the Internet or borrowed from my friends. To date, more than thirty recipes for this dish have accumulated in my culinary notebook, and I hasten to share some of them with you.
Canned squid salad with vegetables
Delicious and satisfying salad that can be prepared very quickly if you take care of boiled vegetables in advance. Usually I prepare food in the evening, and the next day I make a dish in literally 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 150 g canned squid;
- 2 potatoes;
- 1 carrot;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 fresh cucumber;
- 4-5 Art. l. canned green peas;
- 3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
- salt to taste.
Preparation:

Boil potatoes and carrots, cool and cut into cubes.
Potatoes will make the salad hearty, and the carrots will make it brighter.
- Wash and dry fresh cucumber.
- Boil eggs hard-boiled, peel.
- Throw the peas on a sieve.

Cut the cucumber and eggs into cubes as well.
Fresh cucumber will give the salad freshness and juiciness

Cut squid pieces into squares or randomly.

Transfer the squid to a bowl of vegetables and eggs.

Add the peas.
Excess liquid can ruin the salad, so don't forget to dry the peas first.

Salt the salad, season with mayonnaise, stir.
Adjust the amount of salt and mayonnaise to taste

Salad with squid, crab sticks and red caviar

Ingredients:
- 1 squid carcass;
- 5 eggs;
- 200 g crab sticks;
- 1 tbsp. l. red caviar;
- 1 bunch of lettuce leaves;
- mayonnaise - to taste;
- salt to taste.
Preparation:
- Rinse the squid carcass under running warm water, peel off a thin film, remove the chord.

Dip the carcass in boiling water with a little salt and cook for 3 minutes.
Boil the squid in boiling salted water for no more than 3 minutes

Cool the finished squid and cut into thin strips.

Transfer the squid to a bowl, season with mayonnaise, stir.

Pieces of eggs must be large, otherwise, during mixing, the product risks turning into porridge

Put a spoonful of red caviar in a salad bowl and stir all the ingredients.
To make the salad richer, the amount of caviar can be increased.
- Rinse the lettuce leaves, dry thoroughly and place on a large plate.

Transfer the food to a dish with leaves, decorate as you like.

Salad with squid, shrimps and mozzarella
Such a salad will perfectly fit into the picture of a romantic dinner. Don't forget about relaxing music and a bottle of cool white wine.
Ingredients:
- 150 g cherry tomatoes;
- 50 g of peeled mini squids;
- 3 peeled tiger prawns;
- 1 mozzarella ball
- 20 g of radish;
- 15 g red onions;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- 15 g capers;
- 2-3 basil leaves;
- 20 ml olive oil;
- 5 ml balsamic vinegar;
- 30 g pesto sauce;
- salt and black pepper to taste.
Preparation:

Cut the tomatoes into halves.
To preserve the juice of the tomatoes, cut the cherry with a very sharp knife.

Cut a slice of red onion into half rings or feathers.

Cut the capers almost to the end.
You can add both fresh and canned capers to the salad

Cut the radish into thin slices.
The radish is chopped into circles or halves of circles

Transfer cherry, radish, capers and onion to a bowl.
The amount of each salad ingredient can be varied according to your taste preferences.

Heat half the olive oil in a skillet.
Use high quality olive oil or refined sunflower oil for frying

Sauté the shrimp and the husked garlic clove, cut in half.
Roasted garlic will saturate the oil and seafood with a unique flavor

After 2 minutes, put the squid, cut into large pieces, into the pan, cook for 2 minutes, then turn off the stove.
Do not fry seafood for more than 2 minutes

Add chopped fresh basil, black pepper and salt to taste to a bowl of vegetables, add balsamic vinegar and remaining oil.
It is recommended to use coarse sea salt for refueling food.

Cut the mozzarella ball into 6-8 segments.
The cheese is cut into large pieces or thick slices

Place the vegetables in the center of a large plate, place the cheese slices around the edges, and the seafood on top. Garnish with pesto sauce just before serving.

Puff salad with squid, fried mushrooms and carrots
Another great dish for those who like to decorate the table with delicious and unusual salads.
Ingredients:
- 1 squid carcass;
- 200 g of champignons;
- 1 head of onion;
- 1 carrot;
- 100 g of hard cheese;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- mayonnaise - to taste;
- salt and black pepper to taste.
Preparation:

Prepare food.
Despite the large number of ingredients, the salad is prepared easily and quite quickly.

Cut the champignons into plates.
If the mushrooms are large, each plate must be cut into 2-3 pieces.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the mushrooms for 5-7 minutes, lightly salt and pepper them. Transfer the mushrooms to a plate.
As soon as the mushrooms are browned, immediately remove them from the stove.

Finely chop the onions.
Onions are cut into small cubes or just finely chopped with a knife

Fry the onion until transparent in the second half of the vegetable oil.
Saute the onions until half cooked

Grate the carrots with medium holes, put on the onion, stir. Add a pinch of salt to the vegetable mass, fry for 5 minutes.
At the end of cooking, onions and carrots should be soft
- Boil the squid in boiling salted water for 2.5–3 minutes.

Cool the finished seafood, cut it into thick strips.

Put a layer of squid in a salad bowl, brush with 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise.
If you think that mayonnaise is not enough, increase the amount of product

The second layer is fried mushrooms and the same amount of mayonnaise.
Spread mayonnaise thoroughly over each layer of lettuce

The third layer is carrots with onions and mayonnaise again.
Carrots and onions do not require a lot of mayonnaise, as they are fried in oil and saturated with fat

The fourth layer is hard cheese grated on a coarse grater.
Cheese for sprinkling should be grated on a coarse or medium grater
- Place the salad bowl in the refrigerator for half an hour or more.
