It's a pity to throw it away, but by the morning it will already lose its taste and softness. What do experienced housewives do in this case? That's right: they come up with completely new dishes from yesterday's buckwheat! We offer you several economical recipes, according to which you can prepare a full breakfast and lunch in the morning.

Buckwheat casserole with meat

This casserole turns out to be very satisfying. And it also has an important plus: it can be prepared simply from what is in the refrigerator. You will need:

  • 500 g of boiled buckwheat;
  • 100 g of cheese;
  • 500 g of boiled meat;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 onion;
  • 80 g sour cream;
  • ½ tsp. baking powder for the dough.

Cooking process:

  1. Chop the onion finely and sauté in vegetable oil until golden brown.
  2. Cut the meat into small pieces, place it on the onion and fry for another 3 minutes. Remove the pan from heat, let the meat cool and stir in the sour cream.
  3. Grind buckwheat in mashed potatoes, add mayonnaise, crushed garlic, grated cheese and baking powder to it. Mix thoroughly into a homogeneous mass.
  4. Put half of the buckwheat mass into a greased form, level. Lay out a layer of meat filling on top, the next layer - the remaining buckwheat. Brush the surface with sour cream and bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 20 minutes.

Thanks to sour cream, yesterday's buckwheat will become very soft and juicy during baking. For this casserole, take:

  • 2 cups boiled buckwheat;
  • 500 g of boneless fish fillet;
  • 400 g sour cream;
  • 100 g of cheese;
  • ¼ glasses of flour;
  • 2/3 tsp salt;
  • ¼ h. L. pepper;
  • vegetable oil for frying.

And we will cook like this:

  1. Combine the flour, salt and pepper in a bowl. Place a skillet with sunflower oil on the fire.
  2. Cut the fish into small pieces, roll in prepared flour. Fry on both sides until the fish is lightly browned. Remove from the pan.
  3. Drain off excess oil so that about 1 tablespoon remains. Pour the remaining flour from the fish breading into the pan. Fry until the color changes, then pour in the sour cream, stir and wait until it boils. Remove the skillet from heat.
  4. Take a baking dish with a diameter of about 22-24 cm, brush with vegetable oil. Pour in buckwheat, spread the fish on it. Pour in the sour cream sauce, shake the mold so that it spreads well.

You will need:

  • 300 g of buckwheat porridge;
  • 300 g of prepared minced meat (meat, onions, salt, pepper);

  • 2 boiled eggs;
  • 1-1.5 st. l. sour cream.

Cooking process:

  2. Divide the minced meat into 6 parts. Form each part into a large flatbread. Put the eggs with sour cream in the center, lift the edges of the cake and carefully fasten so that there are no gaps.
  3. Dip the patties in breadcrumbs, place on a cutting board and leave for 3-4 minutes. Then fry in hot oil over medium heat for 2 minutes on both sides. You do not need to cover the pan.
