More theoretical questions

It is planned to expand the theoretical part by adding two new blocks containing a list of questions on the basics of psychology and medicine. In addition, the block for testing knowledge on the basics of safe traffic will be expanded.

Each ticket will contain 50 questions, and to prepare for the delivery of the theory, it will be necessary to learn about a thousand. Based on this, the system of assessing the theoretical exam will change, the number of permissible errors in the test will be revised. The time allotted for solving the test part will also increase.

Replacing the "platform" with a general exam

It is planned to remove the exam held on the “site” and combine it with the second practical part, “around the city”. The traffic police explained that this innovation will not create accidents on the roads of the country, since it is planned to test the driver's skills on the roads with the least intensive traffic.

It is also worth noting that a certain part of the practical exam: turning in a confined space, parallel parking, as well as entering the box - will continue to take place in closed areas in order to avoid emergency situations. Testing of other skills: crossing an intersection, a railway crossing and driving with the maximum permissible speed are planned to be carried out on city roads.

The route for each candidate for obtaining the rights will become individual, and the examinee will not be able to know it in advance. It is clarified that from October 1, the list of routes along which the internship can pass will become known. The examiner will inform you about this during the exam.

It is also planned to change the system for assessing the skills of the examinees and remove the five-point system of penalties. Now, in accordance with the rules, a student who has received five penalty points is sent to retake.

The ability to challenge the exam results

Given that the human factor affects the results of driving tests, they may not be objective. As a result - an erroneous decision based on the results of a driving test, and refuse to issue a license.

Under the new rules, the future driver will be able to appeal the examiner's decision if he does not agree with the results.

It is planned that these changes will come into force on October 1, 2020. The traffic police believe that such steps will improve the quality of driver training.
