3 simple salads that an old bachelor taught me

A few weeks ago my brother, who lives in Vladivostok, came to visit me, but now I am in Moscow. We are both adults, but I have a family for a long time, and he has never been married. Imagine my surprise when he offered to help me prepare dinner! It turned out that his bachelor life forced him to learn how to cook good dishes. Today I want to share with you the recipes for three salads that my brother told me about.

From corn, peas and cucumber

To prepare the first salad, we need the following ingredients:

  • canned corn and peas;
  • fresh and pickled cucumbers;
  • carrot;
  • smoked sausage;
  • bow;
  • mayonnaise.

First, take a large salad bowl and pour corn and peas in equal proportions. Then we cut the cucumbers: both fresh and salted. The latter need a little less than the rest of the ingredients so that the salad does not turn out too sour. We add sliced carrots and smoked sausage of your choice to our salad bowl.

All that remains is to add the onion and season with mayonnaise!

Beans, croutons and garlic

For the next dish you will need:

  • beans;
  • crouton;
  • canned corn;
  • cheese;
  • pickle;
  • garlic, salt and herbs;
  • mayonnaise.

To prepare a salad of beans, croutons and garlic, we need to boil the beans in advance. If you like canned, you can use it too, but my brother advised me to take fresh one. So, in a bowl of cooked beans, we put corn and one finely chopped pickle. Then we rub the cheese there and add the garlic.

Here is another interesting and everyone's favorite ingredient - crackers. You can take rye or wheat - your choice. Season with two tablespoons of mayonnaise, a pinch of salt, and then mix thoroughly. Sprinkle the dish with herbs, for example, dill or parsley, on top.

From fish, prunes and apples

And for the last, third salad from an inveterate bachelor, we will need:

  • processed cheese;
  • bow;
  • canned tuna;
  • prunes;
  • nuts;
  • salted cucumbers;
  • an Apple;
  • eggs;
  • garlic;
  • mayonnaise.

The composition of this dish surprised me very much, however, every fish lover will appreciate it. So, first we cut tuna and pickles, then pre-soaked and finely chopped prunes and an apple.

Pour in some nuts: it can be peanuts, hazelnuts or walnuts. We cut or three on a grater a boiled chicken egg, then turn for garlic and onions. The last ingredient remains - mayonnaise for the dressing. Mix thoroughly, transfer the mass to a beautiful dish - and the salad is ready to be served at the table!

Enjoy your meal!
