There is one more reason. For a long time, the walls of hospital wards were painted white. Therefore, a person who decides to decorate the interior in white may feel uncomfortable, as if in a hospital bed.

To expand the space of an apartment, it is better to prefer light beige tones that go well with soft pink, lilac or coffee shades.

Black smooth floor

Black is the color of dictatorship and mourning. He is preferred by strict bosses who want to psychologically suppress subordinates. The black color scheme taken as the basis for the design does not surprise anyone in funeral homes, here it is quite appropriate. However, in living quarters, black should be avoided. It visually reduces the space, turning even a large room into a gloomy cell.

Bright and poisonous colors in the bedroom

In fact, actors rarely spend time at home, and therefore bright colors do not irritate them. In addition, they live in large apartments and usually decorate only a few rooms in a shocking style, where reporters and guests are received.

In general, all people strive to make it comfortable to be in their house, to breathe warmth, calmness and homeliness from it. And therefore, even artists avoid using bright colors in the interior of their bedrooms that can cause headaches, insomnia, irritation and anxiety. The bedroom should be decorated in a calm, serene style, using soft pastel colors.

Unappetizing colors in the kitchen

Rarely will anyone dare to use wallpaper in blue, green, gray and purple tones in the kitchen. The point is not even that these colors are designed to soothe and balance thoughts and feelings. Blue, gray, and green will give food a musty look, while purple will make food look like rotten meat. It is unlikely that in such an environment it will be possible to eat normally.

Psychologists advise using red, yellow and orange colors in the design of the kitchen. They visually make food more attractive and whet the appetite.

Dark ceiling

Comments are unnecessary here. Very rarely does anyone risk painting the ceiling black. He will "press" a person to the ground, causing him negative associations with a prison. Such a room will look 2-3 times smaller than its actual size, and the number of lighting lamps will have to be doubled.

Dark ceilings are appropriate for bars and billiard rooms. There, lighting does not play such a big role, and thanks to the dark ceilings, bars and tables attract more attention. In the apartment, it will be much more pleasant to see a light, airy ceiling, imitating the vault of heaven.
