Cooking dumplings is the easiest option when there is no way to spend a lot of time cooking dinner. But this kind of food gets boring quickly. In this case, you can diversify your table with dishes based on dumplings, making your dinner tastier and healthier.

Fried dumplings with tomato and cheese

Cheese with tomatoes goes well with dough and meat filling. For cooking you will need:

  • 10-15 dumplings;
  • 1 large tomato;
  • butter for frying;
  • 50 gr. cheese;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Boil the dumplings, then put in a well-heated frying pan with a piece of butter and fry until golden brown, add salt and pepper. Rinse and cut tomatoes into thin slices, place in a skillet and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Cover the dish with a lid and leave for another 3-5 minutes for the cheese to melt. If desired, each portion can be individually sprinkled with fresh herbs or any spices.

Casserole with sour cream and onions

Cooking such a "lazy" casserole will only take an hour of your time. Prepare ingredients:

  • 800-1000 gr frozen dumplings;
  • 2 onions;
  • 3-4 eggs;
  • 250 gr sour cream;
  • salt;
  • ground black pepper;
  • half a bunch of greens (parsley or dill).

Turn on the oven in advance to preheat. At this time, peel the onion, chop finely and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Grease a baking dish with a little butter and place in the oven for a couple of minutes (on a heated surface, the likelihood of the dish sticking is much less). Place the frozen dumplings on the bottom of the mold in one layer and the fried onions the second.

Grate the cheese, and beat the eggs, sour cream, salt and pepper in a separate container. Pour the mixture over the first two layers and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake the dish for 30-40 minutes at 200 degrees. Serve the cooked casserole hot, sprinkled with herbs.

Barbecue

Fiddling with meat is too long and tiring, so ordinary frozen dumplings come to replace it. String them on skewers and fry them on the grill, grill, or in the oven, placing them on parchment.

It will take 10-15 minutes on each side until a crispy crust forms. Serve "shish kebab" with various sauces, herbs or sour cream.

Soup

If you didn't manage to have a proper lunch during the day, prepare a healthy, and most importantly simple, dinner. Required products:

  • 400 gr dumplings;
  • 3-4 potatoes;
  • 1 onion;
  • 3 garlic cloves;
  • 2 liters of water;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • black pepper;
  • half a bunch of parsley;
  • 1 bay leaf;
  • 30 grams of butter.

Put water on fire to boil, and peel and cut vegetables. Onions and garlic - finely, and potatoes - in large cubes. As soon as the water boils, put the potatoes in it and leave to cook for 10 minutes.

Send the onion and garlic to the pan to fry in butter for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.

As soon as the potatoes are cooked, add the dumplings to it and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes, adding salt, bay leaf and pepper. Finally, add the onion and garlic stir-fry and let the soup simmer for 3-5 minutes over low heat.

Garnish the finished dish with finely chopped herbs and sour cream.

Vegetable stew

Vegetable stew is not only very healthy, but also delicious. The dumplings add satiety and originality to the recipe. For cooking you will need:

  • 400-500 gr of dumplings;
  • 1 large carrot;
  • 2 onions;
  • 1 eggplant;
  • 100-200 grams of beans (canned or asparagus);
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste;
  • salt;
  • spices to taste;
  • 3 heads of garlic;
  • 1 bay leaf.

Peel and chop all vegetables, except for carrots and eggplant. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, and cut the eggplant into half rings without removing the skin.

Preheat a skillet with vegetable oil, add onions, carrots, eggplant, beans and tomato paste. Mix all ingredients, add bay leaf, finely chopped garlic, salt and spices. Simmer vegetables for about 10-15 minutes.

Place the dumplings last. If the vegetables give little juice, add a little water. Cover the skillet with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes until tender. Sprinkle with herbs and grated cheese before serving.
