Swing door mechanism
A swing door is a simple design that opens inward or outward. It consists of two parts, movable and not: a canvas, which is an opening door leaf, and a box that is installed in the wall opening. The opening mechanism is provided by hinge hinges (also called awnings) that attach the sash to the door frame. The design of the swing door also includes platbands that cover the gap between the door frame and the wall, a lock or latch, a handle, a transom and other accessories. The door leaf can be different - deaf or with various types of glazing.
The main elements of the swing door mechanism are the frame, door leaf and hinges
Types of swing doors
All swing doors are divided into two main groups: entrance and interior doors. Both those and others most often consist of one sash and are called single-sash. But sometimes, for example, in the case of a wide opening, the door leaf can consist of two leaves. Such doors are called, respectively, double doors. The advantages of all types of swing doors include good heat and sound insulation, which is ensured by adjoining the door leaf close to the frame, ease of installation, and the ability to equip with a door closer. Among the disadvantages - the sash when opening significantly reduces the usable space.
Double doors
Doors with two leaves can be both external and interior. Such constructions are used mainly for non-standard sizes of openings, in private houses or large apartments. The maximum width can reach about two meters (the maximum width of one standard door leaf is 1.2 m). The leaves can be asymmetrical - sometimes one of them is made narrower. On one of the canvases, latches are installed at the top and bottom, which fix it in the closed position and allow you to use only one opening.
The narrow sash opens when it is necessary to carry bulky objects into the room
Double-leaf designs have the following advantages:
- increase the width of the doorway;
- give the interior an aristocratic, respectable look;
- fixing one of the leaves allows you to use the double door as a normal one, and if necessary, expand the opening;
- can be used with non-standard doorways;
- provide a wide opportunity for the use of non-standard design solutions (doors of different widths, a variety of finishing materials, colors, design options).
Double-leaf doors have many design options and give the interior a stylish and unusual look
But compared to a single-leaf design, this design has a number of disadvantages:
- the need for a large living space for installation;
- reduction of useful space when opening;
- the use of more massive material for the manufacture of the sash in order to increase the strength and rigidity of the structure;
- high price;
- impracticality and inconvenience in operation;
- the need for more fittings;
- an increase in the load in the places where the web is attached
Swing double-leaf doors can differ in shape: rectangular, arched or with a transom. The latter option is used in the case of a very high doorway. The transom can be deaf or glazed and increases the flow of natural light or visually complements the height of the door.
The transom can be deaf or glazed
The door leaf of double doors can be solid: smooth, paneled, molded, decorated with carvings, inlays or edging, with a combination of various materials and with glazing of varying degrees of filling - from small inclusions to a fully glass sash. In this case, glass of increased strength is used - transparent, frosted, stained glass, with sandblasting.
Stained glass doors look delicate and sophisticated
Double doors are made of natural wood or its substitutes (MDF, chipboard). A combination of these materials is possible: a structure completely consisting of solid valuable wood is too expensive, therefore, in order to reduce the cost, the door leaf can be formed from MDF board, and the finishing layer from valuable wood. Metal, glass or plastic models are sometimes used, but they will be more appropriate in offices and other public spaces.
Glass doors are appropriate in rooms where there is no need to hide from prying eyes
When choosing a door, it is necessary to take into account the area of housing and the style of the interior.
Single wing swing doors
The single-leaf door design is the most common. It can be installed both at the entrance to the premises and in the interior partitions. According to the material of manufacture, the products can be wooden, metal, glass, composite.
Single-leaf swing doors are the most common and demanded among buyers
Wooden
It is possible to manufacture from various wood species, but oak are considered the most reliable and durable. And also materials from alder, ash, walnut, beech can be used. The advantages of wooden doors include:
- environmental friendliness - wood does not pose a danger to human health;
- strength - the construction of natural wood ensures a long service life without deformation and distortions of the door leaf;
- aesthetics - wooden doors give the room a solid and respectable look;
- good noise and heat insulation - natural wood does not allow extraneous noise into the room, and also does not allow heat to leave it;
- individuality - solid wood doors can be made to order, due to which they will fully meet the requirements of the buyer and the style of the room in which they are installed.
Of course, wooden doors have their drawbacks. These include:
- The high price of the product. Solid wood doors are among the most expensive on the market.
- Heavy construction. Wood is a rather heavy material, therefore, to install such doors, you will need more durable fittings.
- The need for additional processing. A wooden door needs protection from negative environmental influences. Periodically, it will have to be treated with various antiseptics, stains and impregnations.
A wooden door will delight its owner with a long and high-quality service, provided it is correctly installed and properly maintained.
Metal
Metal is most often used in the manufacture of entrance doors, but in some cases, doors made of such material can be installed between rooms. Advantages of metal doors:
- strength and reliability, such doors are well suited for protecting valuable property;
- ease of maintenance, metal doors do not require maintenance even in the most difficult climatic conditions.
The main disadvantage of such doors is the large weight of the structure.
A metal door can be decorated with decorative elements and inserts made of glass or mirror
Glass
All-glass structures are very rare and are only installed between rooms. More common are doors with partial glazing or with a leaf enclosed in a frame. But such doors are also more often used in public places. In a living space, a transparent door will help to visually enlarge the space. Glass must be tempered and made up of several layers.
A transparent door visually expands the space
The advantages of glass doors are:
- Long service life. Glass doors can last forever with proper care and maintenance.
- Great light transmittance. Due to its transparency, the canvas transmits light into the darkest rooms, and is also able to reflect light from artificial light sources, which helps to create a cozy, light atmosphere in the room.
- Resistance to various kinds of influences. Glass is immune to mold and mildew, it does not deform under the influence of high humidity and high temperatures.
- Ease of maintenance. It is enough to wipe such a door with a damp cloth and special glass products.
- Graceful appearance. Glass doors always look aesthetically pleasing and non-trivial.
There are practically no downsides to glass doors, except that the high price and fragility of the canvases: if the door was poorly tempered, then there is a danger of glass breaking.
Glass in the door does not have to be colorless, it can have any shade
Composite
This name refers to doors, in the manufacture of which not one material was used, but several. This includes structures made of MDF, chipboard, plastic, as well as covered with veneer. Plastic doors are reinforced with an aluminum profile. Composite structures are common due to their lightness, low price, variations in different colors and decor. Thanks to the laminated coating, doors made of MDF or chipboard can look almost indistinguishable from real wood. Plastic doors in residential interiors are not used very often due to their "coldness" and lack of a sense of comfort.
Composite door consists of several layers
Rotary doors
Rotary or roto-doors can be attributed to swing doors only conditionally, since in fact such a design combines several operating principles at once - swing, sliding and pendulum. Its mechanism is based on rollers placed in the door frame. When closed, this design is no different from a conventional swing door, but when opened, its advantages immediately manifest:
- can open in both directions;
- takes up less space when opened, convenient for installation in small rooms;
- moves easily and silently;
- provides reliable heat and sound insulation, thanks to a special seal that provides a tight fit to the door frame;
- thanks to the rotary mechanism does not sag over time;
- looks unusual, gives a stylish look to the interior, can be made to order;
- can be easily installed by yourself, as the structure is supplied already assembled.
The roto door is convenient for installation in a small room
At the same time, the rotary system also has certain disadvantages:
- Limited web weight. Due to the complex movement mechanism, it is not recommended to make a canvas from heavy materials.
- High price. Due to the need for a large number of accessories for the roller mechanism, such a door will cost more than one made of the same material and the same size, but with a standard opening principle.
The mechanism here is designed for standard sizes of doorways and consists of the following elements:
- a hinge with a roller that allows the door to rotate;
- a guide bar equipped with a groove that does not allow the roller mechanism to move;
- a lever that fixes the door leaf in a vertical position;
- bushings;
- sealant.
The roto door combines hinged, sliding and pendulum mechanisms
Such a door can be made of various materials: MDF, glass, wood, plastic, etc.

Hinged mirror doors
Mirror coating is a variant of a glass sheet. Doors made of this material can be installed between rooms, at the entrance to a dressing room, wardrobe, niche. The mirror surface, like the glass surface, is covered with a protective film to avoid splinters if the door is damaged. The swing door can have a mirror coating on both sides of the leaf or only on one side, be decorated with mirror fragments, be one- or two-leaf. Such a coating can visually increase the area of the room, therefore, it is suitable for cramped rooms.
A mirrored door can replace a stationary mirror, thereby saving useful room space
The framing of the mirror sash is made of wood, metal profile (most often aluminum), MDF, chipboard. The aluminum profile can have a different coating - anodized (coating with an anticorrosive film while maintaining the original color), painted with powder paints, laminated (using various colors or wood imitation), glossy cataphoresis. The mirror canvas can also be of different types: tinted, with stained glass, sandblasting or engraving, photo printing.
To install mirrored doors, special hardware is required. The hinges can be installed in holes drilled in the mirror (this requires a soft rubber pad) or fixed to the surface using clamps or stops. Handles are also available with or without drilling. Sometimes they do without them altogether, equipping the door with an automatic closer.
Photo gallery: mirror doors in the interior

- The door frame design can be effectively combined with the large floor mirror frame
- Mirrored door will be appropriate in the bathroom
- Reflective coating on the dressing room door replaces the mirror
- Multiple mirrored doors in the gym provide a panoramic view

Swing swing doors
Pendulum doors are swing doors by design, but, like roto-doors, they can open in one direction or the other. Such a mechanism is provided by special fittings installed in the threshold and crossbar, it allows the sash to rotate around its axis. The pendulum structure can be single and double.
The axis of rotation can be installed on the edge of the door frame or in the middle of the door leaf
The advantages of swing doors:
- No door frame is required, which allows for more usable space and can be appropriate in a minimalist or high-tech interior. Such a door can be installed in a small room with small doorways.
- Special fittings are used that can withstand heavy loads on the lower axle, therefore, a massive door leaf can be installed.
- You can open the door in both directions and adjust the speed of the sash movement. Also, the upper canopy allows you to fix the door in a certain position.
- The structure does not sag under the influence of humidity and temperature changes.
- Simple installation, you can do the installation or repair yourself.
- Low price with a wide variety of materials and designs.
- Large bandwidth.
- The use of natural, environmentally friendly materials in the manufacture.
Disadvantages:
- Low sound and heat insulation due to the lack of a tight abutment of the canvas to the box, which can be increased with a seal.
- The high cost of fittings, especially when installing a structure that opens in both directions, as well as the need for free space for this.
When opening the door in both directions, it is necessary to provide free space for the leaf to move.
Various materials are used in the manufacture of swing doors:
- Glass. Suitable for interiors in modern style, hi-tech, minimalism. Doors made of this material are durable, not prone to scratches, and easy to clean. Glass doors visually increase the space. The glass is covered with a special protective film against breaking, it can be transparent, sprayed or tinted. Disadvantage - tempered glass is heavy.
- An aluminum profile, inside which a sash made of glass, plastic, wood can be placed. They look less aesthetically pleasing than fully glass doors, but they are more reliable and stable, have a lower price, are moisture resistant, therefore, they can be installed at the entrance to the kitchen, bathroom, pool.
- PVC profile, in the frame of which a glass or sandwich structure is installed. Such doors are inexpensive, practical and durable, easy to maintain, but have a standard design option. Often used on balconies.
- Wood. The most classic, high quality and reliable material. Doors made of wood are indispensable when decorating an interior in a classic style. Disadvantages - the requirement of constant care and exposure to moisture, therefore it is not recommended to install them at the entrance to the bathroom or sauna.
Hinged doors to a niche
A niche in apartments is used for a dressing room, a shower room, a wardrobe, an additional room. The doors at the entrance to it can be of various designs. The use of swing doors is beneficial due to ease of installation, more extensive access to the interior space, the absence of complex opening mechanisms, and ample design options. Another advantage of using this particular design is its noiselessness when opening, in contrast to a sliding roller door, which is convenient when the dressing room is located in the bedroom. In such cases, it is recommended to use a double-leaf swing door model in order to reduce the space for the leaf to open.
Swing doors in the dressing room can be installed only if there is sufficient space in front of the doors, otherwise it will be uncomfortable to use the wardrobe
When installed in a built-in wardrobe, the swing door leaves are attached to the side panels with 4-hinged furniture hinges with an integrated door closer. Since the door of the sliding wardrobe is usually of a large height and, accordingly, considerable weight, it is recommended to install the sash on at least 4 hinges. An additional element that will decorate the interior of the room will be the use of decorative door handles, which is impossible on sliding doors.
Hinged doors of the built-in wardrobe, equipped with decorative handles, act as an additional interior decor
The disadvantages of installing a swing structure in a niche are as follows:
- if the niche is located in a small hallway, swing doors, when opened, can completely block the passage of the corridor;
- installation is not possible with uneven walls or floors, as a gap may form between the sashes that cannot be eliminated.
When installed in a wardrobe, mirrored doors or doors made of chipboard are most often used. If the niche is located in the bathroom and is used for a shower, the swing door is made of tempered glass and equipped with an airtight seal and magnet locks to prevent moisture from seeping outside the stall.
The door to the shower stall must provide a hermetic closing
Swing doors with rebate
The porch is a part of the door structure that provides a tighter fit of the leaf to the door frame and is a strip that is placed around the sash perimeter and partially overlaps the frame
The thickness of the rebate is 1/4 of the thickness of the main sheet
Basically, the porch is found in structures made of wood. But recently it began to be used on doors made of plastic, MDF, metal entrance models. The porch is not used in glass products.
A porch on a metal door provides protection against burglary
Advantages of a rebated door:
- The best heat, sound and moisture insulation. The porch provides a complete absence of a gap between the canvas and the box, which is convenient for installation in a bedroom, nursery, study, bathroom.
- Preventing the spread of odors, which allows the use of such a door at the entrance to the kitchen.
- Aesthetic appearance. A feigned plank helps to hide minor imperfections, irregularities and gaps formed.
There are also disadvantages to such a product. First of all, this is a higher price, due to the presence of complex fittings and time-consuming installation. Also, the door looks more massive, which is inappropriate in small rooms, in addition, its appearance fits perfectly into the classic interior, but is not at all suitable for rooms decorated in a modern style.
When installing the door, uneven gaps and distortions between the leaf and the frame may occur, which will reduce the aesthetic indicators of the structure, due to the bridging it will be possible to hide them
For hardware of rebated doors, hinges of the so-called screw-in type are used. They are installed on a vertical end, can be adjusted in three directions, and are invisible when the door is closed. The hinges are available in brass or stainless steel. Sometimes the door frame is absent in this design, and the hinges are cut right into the doorway.
The hinges are hidden from view, so they do not spoil the appearance of the door
Radial swing doors
Radial doors have an unusual profile. The type of valves can be convex or concave, round or oval. Most often they are used at the entrance to a niche, wardrobe, shower room, for furniture facades, but in some cases they can be installed between rooms. They give the interior a non-standard look, visually change the space. The frame is a bent wooden, aluminum or plastic profile into which the ribs are inserted. Facade filling can be glass with different decor, mirror, composite. Fully wooden radius doors are made very rarely - the structure is heavy, difficult to manufacture and install, and expensive.
Radial door in the interior looks unusual
Table: comparison of profile types for radius doors
Profile material | Characteristic |
Wood | Natural, prestigious, very durable material. Covered with special varnishes that emphasize its texture. Gives the interior a feeling of comfort, natural warmth, coziness. |
Aluminum | Differs in rigidity, strength, durability. For increased heat and sound insulation, it can be supplemented with a heat insulating insert. |
Plastic | Refractory, highly flammable material. Safe and practical, it can be covered with different types of colored films with imitation of wood, metal and other materials. Has good heat and sound insulating properties. |
External swing doors
Entrance swing doors, like interior doors, can consist of one or two leaves, but they differ in some features. According to the material of manufacture, they can be wooden, plastic, glass, metal.
-
Wooden front doors. Manufacturing is in accordance with GOST 24698–81, which contains standard dimensions, types and designs of doors. According to the standards, external wooden doors are divided into three types, which are marked with letters: H (entrance and vestibule), C (service), L (hatches and manholes). If glass inserts are used in the canvas, grilles are often installed on them from the street side. Dimensions of external doors made of wood: height - 2085-2385 mm; the width of a single-leaf structure is 884–984 mm, of a two-leaf structure - 1274–1874 mm. Wooden doors are mainly installed in private houses. They look impressive and respectable, but in terms of protective functions they are inferior to metal ones.
Wood is a timeless classic that always looks impressive
-
Metal exterior doors. Metal is stronger, more fireproof, more reliable and more resistant to deformation than other materials for entrance doors. The base of the door can be aluminum or steel. Aluminum is lighter in weight and easier to process. The optimum sheet thickness is 2–3 mm. The door leaf is finished with plastic or MDF panels, powder of various colors and roughness, wood, simply painted or varnished. Heat and sound insulation is achieved with the help of fillers - mineral wool, expanded polystyrene, corrugated cardboard. Burglar-proof locks and reliable fittings are installed on the front door.
The metal door surpasses all others in terms of reliability and safety
-
Plastic entrance doors. Reinforced plastic structures are made of reinforced PVC profile, which ensures maximum rigidity. Installed in private homes or public buildings. The door leaf is filled with tempered glass glazing, thermal panels (fixed sashes) or various decorative elements. The doors are equipped with anti-burglar fittings. Permissible sash weight - up to 140 kg. Such doors have good sound and heat insulation, dust protection.
Metal-plastic entrance door - a simple and popular design
-
Glass exterior doors. Most often they are installed in public buildings - offices, restaurants, shops. They are made of tempered glass with a thickness of 8–12 mm. The surface can be transparent, matte, sandblasted. Often a pendulum opening mechanism is used for such structures. Supplied with locks at the top and bottom of the door leaf or with a lock handle. To protect the glass from dirt and damage, bump profiles are used.

Making and installing a swing door with your own hands
Instead of purchasing an expensive and not always high-quality and natural door structure, you can make it yourself. Consider the simplest option for making a wooden swing door yourself.
First of all, you need to decide on the dimensions of our door and prepare a drawing. Standard swing door sizes:
- height - no more than 2 m;
- width - the step is taken as a multiple of 10 mm; the narrowest sash is 400 mm, the widest is 1200 mm; in double-leaf designs, the door width is the total sum of the width of the two leaves;
- blade thickness is standard 40 mm, but this value may vary.
The size of the door is selected in accordance with the size of the opening
Instructions for making a door leaf
We choose a single-leaf structure for manufacturing. You will need tools:
- milling machine for groove joints;
- a circular saw;
- grinder or drill with a grinding attachment for wood;
- screwdriver;
- measuring tool: tape measure, corner, protractor, etc.;
- chisels, mallet, hammer.
Required materials for manufacturing:
- planed board 40x100 mm; the height of the door leaf is 2 m, so it is better to take the length of the board a little more, with a margin for trimming the ends;
- chipboard sheet;
- long euro screws for fastening;
- door furniture;
- finishing varnish.
We start manufacturing:
- Using a grinder with a grinding wheel, we polish the surface of the boards for framing.
- We mill the ends. At the same time, we slightly round the corners of the boards.
-
We change the cutter by 16 mm and make a groove strictly in the center under the chipboard 15–20 cm deep in one long end of the board. It is imperative to make sure that the groove width matches the chipboard thickness.
A groove is made in the middle of the board
- With a circular saw, we cut all ends at 45 °. The length of each framing board should be 2 m, and the upper and lower beams should be equal in width to the door leaf.
- We cut the chipboard to the required width: from the total width of the door leaf we subtract the width of two framing boards and add two groove depths.
-
We fill the framing boards with a mallet on a chipboard sheet. If everything is connected without gaps and deviations, we connect the structure from above and below with euro screws, having previously drilled holes for them.
The beams for the door framing are connected in half wood
- We cut in the latches of handles and awnings.
-
We cover the canvas with varnish.
You can apply varnish with a spray gun or a regular brush.

Door installation
If the door structure is not very heavy, you can install it alone. Tools and materials:
- roulette;
- level;
- pencil;
- hacksaw;
- miter box;
- screwdriver or screwdriver;
- screws.
All the necessary tools must be prepared in advance
Installation order:
-
Determine the size of the doorway.
To determine the width of the opening, select the minimum measurement result
-
We measure the required length of wooden beams for the box and saw them off at an angle of 45 °. First of all, we make long sides, if necessary, they can always be shortened.
Bars are sawn off at an angle of 45 °
- We try on the resulting blank to the door leaf.
-
We join the beams at an angle of 45 ° and connect them with screws. For the structure to have sufficient rigidity, it is better to use at least two screws for each corner.
To ensure rigidity, the corners are connected with at least two screws.
- After the box is assembled, we put the door leaf into it. We mark the attachment points of the awnings.
- We check the horizontal and vertical plane of the box with the level.
-
We fix the door frame in the opening with self-tapping screws.
The door frame is fixed to the wall using dowels and self-tapping screws
-
We attach the awnings to the box. If one-piece hinges are used, they must be attached first to the canvas, and then, together with it, to the door frame.
One-piece hinges are hung together with the door leaf
-
If necessary, fill the gaps with polyurethane foam.
Polyurethane foam increases in volume when it dries, therefore, the gaps should only be partially filled
-
We frame the door with platbands.
The platbands are attached with nails with a small head
Malfunctions and repair of swing doors
The duration of the door operation depends on the conditions of its operation and the material of manufacture. The accessories also mean a lot, namely the locking mechanism, the door handle, the hinges. Improper installation and selection of low-quality components will affect not only the durability of operation, but also the overall comfort when using the door - too small gaps will produce creaks when the door leaf frictions against the jambs and frame, too large gaps will break the sound insulation of the room, will let drafts, odors or shine. The most complex damage and breakdowns can be repaired on their own, while having the right tool and having certain skills. One of the most common faults is a rickety door.
The skew of the door leaf can occur due to its unreliable attachment to the door frame
Repairing a sagging or rickety door
The following factors lead to subsidence or warping of the door:
- too weak loops;
- poor tightening of the hinge with screws at the point of their attachment to the box or to the door itself;
- too much web weight;
- loosening of fasteners;
- sloppy operation.
External doors are hung on at least three hinges, interior doors - on two. It is simple to eliminate the skew, and it is better to do this immediately when a malfunction is detected, since then "complications" can begin - scratches on the door leaf or box, on the floor, torn hinges and a loose box.
You can tighten the hinges with a regular screwdriver, but some types of hinges require special tools
Having found loose fasteners, you need to tighten the screws with a screwdriver or unscrew them first, grease with glue and screw them back in. If the hole has crumbled, it is worth reaming it with a larger diameter drill, driving in a dowel and screwing a screw into it. Or drive in a dowel - a small wooden "post" into which the screw will enter. The skew of the door leaf must be checked with a building level. It is advisable to do this work with a partner. Loosening and loosening of the loops in the future can be avoided by cutting in an additional loop above or below the top.
An additional loop is cut at a distance of 10-15 cm above or below the top loop

Accessories and door fittings
Door fittings perform not only constructive tasks, but also are an aesthetic element that additionally decorates the home. The door stop protects not only the door, but also the wall, and the beautiful handle is more convenient to use. Little things like doorknobs, bezels, etc. tell a lot about the tastes of the owners and their personal preferences.
Fittings ensure door operation and comfortable use
Door accessories include:
-
Hinge hinges. They are used to attach the door leaf to the box and provide an opening mechanism. They are made of steel or non-ferrous metal alloys. Steel - more reliable, but at the same time heavy and do not have a very aesthetic appearance. Products made of alloys are "softer" in work, look more spectacular, but wear out faster. The hinges can be collapsible, which are attached to the door leaf and the frame separately, and universal - they are installed directly on the sash, and then together with it they are attached to the frame, regardless of which side the door will open.
Hinges are collapsible and universal
-
Pens. There are various forms, they act as a separate element of decor. Often a locking mechanism is also mounted in them. They can be made of wood, plastic, various types of metals and alloys. Differ in types:
- on the outlet - they are fixed on the canvas, do not have a locking mechanism;
- push-type with a latch, together or separately with a locking mechanism;
-
Knobs - the lock is mounted inside the handle and is activated by a key or a mechanical latch.
Door fittings should be in harmony with the door leaf and the overall design of the room
-
Latches. Necessarily present in a two-leaf design for automatic fixation of one of the leaves. There are the following types:
- roller, triggered by pressing the door handle, the mechanism of operation is based on the action of a spring in the lock body installed in the groove of the door leaf;
- fallopian - the principle of action is similar to the roller one, but the oblique-angled tongue acts as a holding mechanism;
-
magnetic - consist of a metal plate and a magnet mounted on the canvas and the jamb; are driven by physical effort.
The latch can be mounted directly into the handle
-
Limiters or stops. Available on the floor or on the wall, they are used to prevent the door from being over-opened and hitting the wall. May have a soft surface to avoid damage to the door leaf.
Limiters prevent excessive door opening
-
Closers. Most often they are installed in vestibules or office premises for automatic door closing.
The door closer closes the door automatically
Reviews of swing doors made of various materials
The swing structure can be selected for any area of application, whether it is an entrance to a dwelling or a public building, interior partitions, doors of a wardrobe, shower room or niche. Depending on these conditions, you need to take into account the features of the installation and choose the right size, material, components. And then the door will become not only a functional element, but also an effective interior detail.
