Multicooker jam pie: a delicious treat for family and friends
Cooking in a multicooker is popular with many amateur cooks. It is not surprising, because the kitchen electric aid greatly facilitates the work of the cook, and the dishes created with its help are tasty and appetizing. In addition to the first and second meals, excellent pastries can be prepared in the multicooker. For example, a pie with jam, the recipe for which I will describe later.
Step-by-step recipe for making jam pie in a slow cooker
The first person to tell me about the wonders of baking in a multicooker was my neighbor, who always tries to get all the new items to make household work easier. The woman told me about how easy it is to make a pie with jam in a slow cooker, and later she demonstrated the process itself and treated me to a cup of tea with a piece of this wonderful pastry.
Ingredients:
- 200 g wheat flour;
- 150 g granulated sugar;
- 1 egg;
- 1 tsp soda;
- 250 ml pitted cherry jam;
- 5 g butter;
- icing sugar for dusting.
Preparation:
-
Prepare food.
Place the ingredients you need on your work surface
-
Transfer the cherry jam to a bowl, add baking soda. It is not necessary to extinguish the soda, since the acid contained in the cherries will extinguish it.
Do not extinguish the baking soda, as this will make the acid from the berries.
-
Mix both ingredients (a small amount of foam will appear), set aside.
A little foam will appear when mixing soda and jam.
-
Pour sugar into a separate bowl and beat in an egg.
Eggs and sugar are mixed in a separate container
-
Use a mixer or whisk to beat the egg and sugar until frothy.
Eggs and sugar can be mixed with a mixer or a regular whisk
-
Combine the mixture with the jam and baking soda mixture.
Pour the egg and sugar mixture into the baking soda jam
-
Pour the sifted flour into the mixture, mix the mass thoroughly so that no flour lumps remain.
It is recommended to sift the cake flour
- Lubricate the multicooker bowl with butter.
-
Pour the dough into a multicooker, close the lid and bake the treat for 1 hour in Bake mode.
The approximate cooking time of the cake is 1 hour
-
Use a wooden skewer to test the doneness of the cake. If the dough is baked, turn off the appliance and leave the cake inside the multicooker for a third of an hour.
After cooking, let the cake cool slightly in the multicooker bowl
-
Gently remove the finished cake, transfer to a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Sprinkle the cake with icing sugar or fine sugar
-
Serve whole or sliced into portions.
Serve the treat whole or in portions
