I love pea soup since childhood. Many of the readers will probably remember that earlier such a dish could be enjoyed in every dining room. And for those who had little free time, the stores sold semi-finished products in the form of rectangular briquettes, which simply had to be dissolved in the right amount of water and boiled for a short time. But of course, homemade soup with smoked ribs had the best taste. And a couple of years ago, I learned that a long-familiar first course can be cooked without meat. Classic pea soup without meat
The easiest recipe for soup with peas and vegetables, which can be supplemented with any ingredients you like.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. dry peas;
- 2-3 potatoes;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 head of onion;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 bay leaf;
- salt and black pepper;
- vegetable oil.
Preparation:
- Soak the peas overnight or 4–6 hours before cooking.

Cut the peeled potatoes into small cubes, pour 1–1.5 liters of cold water, lightly salt and place on the included stove.

A very interesting version of pea soup that will easily satisfy even the most severe hunger. Due to the cheese, the dish turns out to be hearty and unusual in taste.
Ingredients:
- 200 g dry peas;
- 100 g smoked sausage cheese;
- 3 potatoes;
- 1 carrot;
- 1/2 head of onion;
- 2 liters of water;
- 3 tbsp. l. soy sauce;
- 1 tsp turmeric;
- 1/2 tsp ground hot pepper;
- 1/2 tsp grated nutmeg;
- 1–2 tsp salt;
- fresh herbs;
- vegetable oil.
Preparation:

Soak peas in water and let sit for 1-2 hours.

- Finely chop the onion with a knife, grate the carrots.

Cut the potatoes into small slices or medium-sized cubes, place in a bowl of cold water.

Cut a piece of sausage cheese into thick strips.

- Turn on the multicooker and select the Searing program. Pour 2 tsp into the bowl. vegetable oil, let it warm up well.

Put the carrots and onions in a bowl, fry for 7-8 minutes until soft.

- 150 g frozen spinach;

- 1 tsp sesame;
- salt to taste.
Preparation:

Rinse the peas and soak for 2-3 hours.

- Throw the peas in a sieve or colander, rinse, transfer to a saucepan, cover with hot water. After the water boils, cook the peas over low heat for an hour until softened.
- Remove the spinach from the freezer and leave at room temperature.

Fry the onion until translucent, add the carrots, cook for another 5-6 minutes.
