A mushroom burger is a low-calorie burger made with mushrooms

You will need:

  • 16 champignons;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • 250 g tofu cheese;
  • 1 eggplant;
  • 1 tomato;
  • lettuce leaves;
  • any marinade to taste.

This number of products is calculated for 8 mushroom burgers.

By the way, you can use not only champignons. When we get out into nature, we cannot do without picking mushrooms. Champignons do not grow in our forests, but they are full of white, aspen, russula and butter mushrooms. No, butter mushrooms are not suitable for mushroom burgers, but the caps of white and aspen mushrooms are just fine. It was with them that I first tasted these original burgers. Just keep in mind that the caps should be small, so large mushrooms will not work.

Champignon caps are very handy for making mushroom burgers, but other mushrooms will do.

  1. Wash the mushrooms, separate the legs from the caps. Marinate the caps in whatever you like, such as a mixture of honey and soy sauce.
  2. Also marinate small pieces of tofu cheese. Cut the tomatoes and eggplants into slices, and the pepper into slices.
  3. Place vegetables and tofu on the grill, fry on both sides. Now start collecting the mushroom. First, a mushroom cap, then pepper, a slice of tofu, a circle of tomato, then an eggplant and a leaf of lettuce. Cover everything with the second mushroom cap and pierce the mushroom burger with a thin wooden stick to hold all the pieces together.

Collect all 8 mushroom burgers this way and enjoy the delicious taste.
