Canned cod liver is one of those foods that I never get bored with. Delicate texture, pleasant taste and stunning marine aroma - a combination that you want to enjoy every day. Most often, I just make a variety of sandwiches with liver, and a little less often - snacks and salads. The first salad that I tried more than 15 years ago was a fairly simple one and consisted of liver, eggs and onions, and over time I began to try to cook dishes with a larger set of ingredients. And I want to note that no matter how you cook, it always turns out delicious.
With canned green peas
One of the best, in my opinion, options for puff salad with cod liver. If you boil potatoes and carrots in advance, it will take no more than a quarter of an hour to prepare the salad.
Ingredients:
- 1 can of canned cod liver
- 3 boiled potatoes;
- 1 boiled carrot;
- 3 boiled eggs;
- 1 head of onion;
- 3-4 st. l. canned green peas;
- 3-4 st. l. mayonnaise;
- 1/2 lemon;
- 2-3 stalks of green onions;
- 5 sprigs of parsley;
- 5-6 lettuce leaves.
Preparation:

Boil the potatoes and carrots in advance without peeling them. Cool vegetables, peel, cut into small cubes. Also chop a small onion head.

Open the jar of cod liver oil, drain the oil. Transfer the food to a deep bowl and mash with a fork.
