How to keep dill sauce for the winter

Almost any of these recipes are suitable both for consuming the sauce in the near future and for long-term storage. In the second case, the finished product must be preserved. Salt and vinegar are used as natural preservatives. But to ensure that the sauce does not spoil, you need to follow a few rules.

Preservation will help preserve the freshness of dill sauce for a long time.

  1. Jars with lids must be thoroughly washed, dried and sterilized.
  2. The prepared sauce should be put into jars while they are still hot, using an exceptionally dry, clean spoon.
  3. Use only fresh food without any signs of rotting for cooking.
  4. After the cans of sauce are rolled up, they need to be turned upside down, wrapped in a blanket and left to cool for a day.

The subsequent storage of conservation also has conditions:

  • do not let the sunlight hit the banks;
  • do not allow sudden changes in temperature (that is, the kitchen is not suitable for storage);
  • do not store preservation at subzero temperatures, otherwise the can will burst or flow;
  • do not place next to heating appliances.

Thus, your sauce can be stored for up to six months.
