How my husband deftly carried out the Christmas tree so that he did not have to collect needles around the apartment for half a day

The Christmas tree is the main attribute of the New Year holidays, and when it is alive, the mood rises doubly. A pleasant aroma spreading through the house portends fabulous wonders and gives bright hopes.

The only drawback of real spruce is that sooner or later it begins to crumble, and the needles scattered on the floor evoke not the best emotions.

On New Year's, we always have a live Christmas tree at home. But the joy that she gives during the holidays disappears when she has to be endured.

Garbage and needles are scattered not only around the house, but also on the entrance. True, last year my husband found a way how to easily and easily take out a dead tree, without causing trouble with cleaning either me or the cleaner.

I want to share this method with you.

To begin with, he spread old newspapers under the spruce and cut off all the branches with a pruner. The cut branches, along with the needles, fell on them, and not on the floor.

If there are no newspapers, oilcloth can be used, and the pruner can be replaced with large scissors. When the branches were cut, the spouse put the newspapers with the contents in a high bucket.

As a result, we were left with a bare tree trunk and a clean floor under it, because all manipulations took place over a protected surface.

The remaining trunk could only be wrapped in cellophane and, along with a bucket filled with branches, taken out of the house.

For the first time, after the holidays, I didn’t have to collect needles around the staircase house.

And we, of course, decided to use this method every year. By the way, there are a couple of simple tricks on how to facilitate the work of removing unnecessary spruce from home.

If the tree is small, you can use an old sheet or an unnecessary tablecloth to wrap the entire tree in a cloth.

It is worth wrapping in such a way that there are no gaps left from which needles can fall. In this form, take the spruce out into the street, placing it in a trash can.

If you don't have the right size sheet or fabric, you can use large, heavy-duty garbage bags. Again, suitable if the spruce is small.

Pull two bags over the tree, one at the bottom and one at the top. Secure the junction with tape so that the bags do not slide out, and needles do not spill out through the gap between them.

Can be wrapped with rope or twine if the bags are thin. If there are no large bags, but there is cling film, wrap the Christmas tree with it, fixing it with tape for reliability.

Now that I know the easy ways to recycle the Christmas tree, I am no longer intimidated by the post-holiday cleaning. I hope my advice will be useful to you too!
