  • 120-150 g of rice (loose);
  • 400 ml boiling water;

  • salt to taste.

First of all, defrost vegetables, you can put them in the microwave for 3-5 minutes for the "Defrost" function. Next, rinse the rice thoroughly so that the water becomes clear, and pour it into a thermos. Put vegetables on top, pour boiling water over and salt. If you want the rice to be more crumbly and not sticky, add a little butter or vegetable oil.

Then close the thermos tightly and leave the dish to “brew” for 3 hours. As a result, you will have excellent vegetable rice, which will be convenient to take with you to nature or as a snack somewhere.

Soup with potatoes and ham

Everyone knows that soup is the healthiest thing for lunch. Therefore, the recipe in a thermos will be more useful than ever if you cannot afford to leave your workplace. For cooking you will need:

  • 2 small potatoes;
  • 100 g ham;
  • onion;
  • medium carrot;
  • 300 ml of water;
  • 150 ml of milk;
  • 2 tbsp. l. butter;
  • a cube of chicken broth;
  • 50 g flour;
  • salt and black pepper.

How to cook:

  1. Boil water, pour it into a thermos and close it to warm up.
  2. Peel and chop carrots, onions and potatoes: carrots on a coarse grater, onions in small cubes, and potatoes in medium pieces, also chop the ham.
  3. Then transfer all the ingredients to a saucepan, cover with water and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the chicken cube and stir well to dissolve. Be sure to try it with salt, if necessary, add salt and pepper.
  4. Put butter in a frying pan and melt, gradually pour in milk, heat a little and add flour. Stir for 5 minutes, until the consistency begins to thicken.
  5. Pour the hot mixture into a saucepan and bring the soup to a boil.

You just have to pour the dishes into a thermos, close and wait about 3-4 hours for it to brew. After it, you can safely eat it with a spoon, or you can pour it into a cup, add a spoonful of sour cream and enjoy the delicate taste.

  • 100 g oatmeal;
  • 150 ml of milk;
  • a handful of raisins;
  • 50 g of any berries.

Pour the flakes into a small container and cover with some hot milk or water so that they swell slightly. Then transfer the mass to a thermos, fill it with hot milk, add the washed raisins and berries and twist it tightly. You can add sugar, salt or honey if desired. The porridge will be ready in half an hour.

  • 100 g of buckwheat;
  • 250-300 ml hot water;
  • salt to taste.
